"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

I like that she drops him off and picks him up every day at school. Having the money and time is a true luxury and I like to see that she is using it well. Family is important stuff.

  2. georgia Says:

Every time I see picutres of her son, his pants get shorter. I know she has said that she has never bought him clothes, she gets all his clothes from her sisters kids, but coe on BUY some longer pants.

  3. brooke Says:

His pants are so high, I always notice most of his pants are like that

  4. Brianne Says:

I think that she has spoken in the past that James wears a lot of hand-me-downs from (I think?) his older cousins. Nice to see a celebrity that doesn’t feel the need to spend hundreds of dollars on children’s clothes and is as budget-conscious as the rest of us.

  5. Brandi Says:

Well I have to say James reminds me of my oldest son, who is 5. he’s a beanpole. To buy pants that fit in the waist will be too short, and the next size up is big even with a belt. he really needs a tall length in pants but they don’t make them for children. my husband and i are both tall, the pediatrician estimated my little boy will be between 6′2 and 6′4 as an adult. i wonder if james is also tall for his age.

  6. lis Says:

I love SJP, and his son is darling, but for pete’s sake – cut his hair!!!

  7. lilith Says:

Why should she cut his hair? He looks adorable with the length it is now.

  8. SH Says:

Brandi – my friend has 3 tall “beanpoles” like yours. Have you ever tried size “slim” pants? Like if he’s in a 5, get 5slim, or 6slim. That’s what her boys where…just a thought. Not sure if it would be your solution.

  9. Bancie1031 Says:

I have to get slims for my daughter ….. if not she looks like she’s waiting on a flood LOL …. I love how she actually have clothes on her child. She dresses him for the weather ……….

  10. Marilyn Says:

I am not opposed to hand-me-downs that FIT. I think he looks like a rag muffin with long hair! With all their money they could afford new made to fit clothes. Afterall, her clothes always fit and she looks nice.
