60 Minutes’ Tara Brown Welcomes Son Jack Cooper

Tara Brown, a reporter for the Australian version of 60 Minutes, and her husband John McAvoy welcomed son Jack Cooper on Saturday, October 25th at a North Shore hospital. The 40-year-old reporter has not decided if she will return to work after her maternity leave is over.
The birth of Jack comes as news that Tara’s co-worker Peter Overton is expecting his second child with wife Jessica Rowe.

congrats to tara. i bet he’s a cutie!north shore is a bit ominous these days, even tho it’s in a rich area, as a few people have kinda died as a result of negligence, but i’m sure none of them are celebs! channel 10’s 5pm newschick deb knight is also preggers.she said last night-a hot day and preg woman don’t mix! not sure how far along she is-she’s pretty big tho.

My son was born in North Shore in 2006, 8 weeks early transferred from Gosford and they did wonderfully in my case. There are a lot of rich people there, and I’m not rich so it was a bit daunting!
