CartStopper: A Safer Way To Unload The Groceries

There really is a gadget for everything, and the CartStopper ($10) proves it. If you’ve ever lived through the terror of seeing your baby roll away in a shopping cart as you turned your back to load your car with groceries, it’s a memory that is no doubt seared into your memory — and it’s a memory that need not be re-lived. Is it something you absolutely need? Probably not. But is it an added measure of safety? Absolutely. Of course, it should go without saying that the safest option is to strap baby into his or her carseat before unloading anything, but that’s not always feasible — especially if you’re trying to corral a toddler who has broken free in a parking lot.
