"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Although she considers herself "pretty easygoing," even Catherine Zeta Jones has her limits. When the 39-year-old actress has reached hers, there isn’t much guesswork involved for her two children with husband Michael Douglas. "People can tell a lot from my tone of voice," she explains. "My kids know when I raise my finger or do ‘the eyes’ that I mean business." Catherine adds,

"I don’t put up with much. I’m kind to everybody. But if you cross me, you know."

The couple, who were married in 2000, are parents to Dylan Michael, 8, and Carys, 5 ½.

Haha that sounds like my mom! My sister in law even said something about it when she & my brother got married she said during the reception one of her friends told her you could hear my mother counting to 3 for one of us (8) & that we would all freeze & look at her & my sister in law goes “yeah thats because shes scary shes scares the s*** out of me!”

  2. beth Says:

i don’t have anything important to say, but my daughters name is charis, too! Its Greek, for Grace. She is the only other person we know with the same name (different spelling).

If my shelties are any indication of what a snap means…my son doesnt stand a chance. Beth, I love the name of your daughter and have never seen that spelling. Super Cool! I love Carys! Liam was nearly a Dylan.

  4. Bren Says:

Kelly, my mom is the same way!! She is so sweet and fun but when we pissed her off OMG we could tell!! lol her eyes and the tone of voice gave it away!! lol

Thinking about it I am turning like my mother…lol when my daughter is misbehaving the minute I look at her she knows…lol

  5. Gina Says:

That is exactly what I do and my children are 5 and 1. Never to soon to start.

  6. Susan Says:

My Mom would clench her jaw and this vein would pop out on her forehead and her eyes would become kind of fixed. Scared the bejesus out of us.

  7. phoebe Says:

Beth – I don’t know a tonne about the origins of Charis, but I do know that Carys is of Welsh origin. Although the fact that you say Charis is Greek might be the reason they chose Carys, as it sort of mixes the heritage of CZJ’s family.

  8. brooke Says:

Catherine’s comment is funny. I wish we would see more pics of dylan and carys, they are cute the times I’ve seen them.
