Kicky Pants, run by a husband and wife team, makes super soft clothes for babies and toddlers, maternity tees, non-toxic soft toys and the Auto Mobile. They have two clothing lines for kids: Bamboo Basics and Cotton Prints, and will be coming out with bamboo prints in the spring.

Why use bamboo? Bamboo is a sustainable crop that grows wild, without pesticides or fertilizers. It’s eco-friendly, soft, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It absorbs water around 3 to 4 times better than cotton and will keep skin 2-3 degrees cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold weather.

In the Bamboo Basics line, you’ll find cute tees, onesies, infant gowns, pants, and dresses. We love their cute bamboo coverall ($25 ). With snaps down the front and a drop-down snapped panel in the back, this coverall comes to capri length (so it won’t hinder your little one’s motion). Colors available are orchid (magenta), moss (olive green), bark (dark brown), lotus (blush pink), natural, spring grass (light green), pond (a light cobalt blue) and fawn (a honey brown).
