Having surrendered herself to the notion that parenthood will be "the hardest thing" she’s ever done, Rebecca Romijn says she takes heart in knowing that "life will never be the same, but in the best way possible." In a revealing new interview with Page Six Magazine, the 36-year-old Ugly Betty actress reiterates that the twin daughters she expects in January with husband Jerry O’Connell were not conceived via in vitro fertilization. Furthermore, she shares, the couple briefly tried the fertility drug Clomid last year — without success. "By the second month, I was like, ‘Ahhh! I hate this!’" Rebecca explains. "I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it’s crazy-making." The pregnancy was finally achieved with the help of Chinese acupuncture.

Another rumor dispelled is that her marriage to actor John Stamos ended because she didn’t want children.

"There is absolutely no truth to that. That [story] was completely made up. I desperately wanted kids. I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery."

As for Jerry, Rebecca has no concerns about his abilities as a father. "I knew early on he would be a fantastic dad," she says. "He really lives his life with tremendous integrity, and he’s a healthy person in every single way." While Jerry took some heat for describing his wife as "huge" during a talk show appearance in September — comments for which he later publicly apologized — Rebecca goes on to call herself a "beached whale" in the new interview. "I can’t eat enough. My ankle are huge. But I feel beautiful," she notes. Rebecca adds,

"I can’t move anymore…I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!"

I wish her luck in making it far! As a mother of 2 year old twins, I know how hard the pregnancy can be!!!

  2. Jazz Says:

I’m also expecting twins in January, and with 4 other ones 6 and under it is quite a challenge. I’m hoping to make it another month at least.
Rebecca looks gorgeous, and I wish her the best of luck. She looks beautiful.

  3. Jen K Says:

What a stunning photo! That dress looks made for her.

  4. Nikka Says:

She doesnt look that big at all !! if i wouldnt know, i wouldnt say she has twins.

  5. Lisa Says:

Ah i agree with the above posters. She looks absolute stunning and that dress was made for her! Nikka I also agree she looks small for being 7 months pregnant with twins…I think she would be carrying small if that was just one kid but u have to keep in mind that this was probobly shot over a month ago when she was about 6 months pregnant and she has probobly grown since then!

  6. brooke Says:

She is pretty and I can’t wait to see her babies and what she names them. I always thought that some celebrities try clomid to get pregnant, because IVF is not the only way to get pregnant and clomid also increases your chances of having twins.

  7. Amanda Says:

She looks wonderful pregnant. I love this picture of her.

  8. Jen Says:

That had to have been taken earlier in her pregnancy–recent pictures have shown her to be MUCH bigger in the belly!
P.S.–Rebecca, good luck on keeping the puppies up. I only had one baby that hated nursing and mine will never be the same again!

How do you prevent camping and kill stealing?
There are several things that have been implemented to limit this problem. First, there is “tapping.” If you damage a monster first, you have thereby “tapped” it and thus only you and your party will gain experience and loot from it, even if another player attacks and kills it. We also limit camping and kill-stealing issues by “instancing” certain areas of the game. No other players, unless they are part of your group, can enter your instance.

How do you prevent camping and kill stealing in non-instanced areas?
Competition over rare item drops and quest items is the primary cause of camping and kill stealing. In World of Warcraft, many rare item drops are not exclusive to any one creature. Several creatures will have a chance of dropping the same item. If the required item is a quest item, the player can join a group of other players on the same quest. Every player on the quest will receive a copy of the quest item from the monster or location where it was found.
Are there other things to do besides leveling?
There is a huge variety of things to do to keep players from feeling like they just have to grind through one creature battle after another. Characters can craft items, fight in vast battles against other players, and explore distant lands. Even when players do fight monsters, it will often be as part of a quest, or in search of special ingredients for their crafts.
Is there a party system for group adventuring?
    Yes. http://www.iwpls.com ” rel=”nofollow”>buy WOW Gold

How large is the party size for players?
The maximum number for a party is five players, and the game is generally balanced for groups of five. Smaller groups can still be quite successful, and regardless of the group’s size, everyone in the group can make important contributions. You can also create larger groups of players, which are called raid groups.

I’m a big fan of Jerry O’Connell, and I’m soooo happy for him and Rebecca! Can’t wait to see their twins!!!!

  11. SH Says:

Who knows when the picture was taken…her belly could have been bigger than that – there’s a thing called photoshop.

  12. marie Says:

So many celebrities have twins but almost none had treatment. Very interesting!

  13. CelebBabyLover Says:

I know Jerry has said the girls are Fraternal, but I just have this feeling that they will be Identical cuties! :)

  14. CelebBabyLover Says:

SH- Why would they make her belly look smaller than it really was at the time of the photoshoot?

  15. Aya Says:

celebbabylover, they photoshop these pics all the time.Especially to smooth out the belly to appear more ideal.

I love everything about the picture but her face.I don’t know, maybe it is just becasue its a small copy but her eyes look creepy. It looks like a real doll.

  16. paula Says:

Marie, you’re so right, but she didn’t say she didn’t have treatment. She said she didn’t do IVF or use Clomid. Interesting choice of words…

  17. ERICKA Says:

I think she looks great but this picture really isn’t cutting it for me. It actually gives me the creeps. I agree with the person above it’s her eyes but it’s also the combination of her hair and her skin color on her face and the lighting. The photographer should have known better…that light that’s above her head to the left shouldn’t have been that bright or something. I’m not sure…it’s just off.

  18. CelebBabyLover Says:

paula- From the way she worded it, it sounds like that was just her way of trying to make it clear that they didn’t use IVF OR fertility drugs.

  19. amanda Says:

I think she looks great.. I think honestly this photo was taken maybe a little bit ago though. Carrie Underwood recently said in an interview that she didn’t want to disclose who she was dating because by the time it made print she could be w/ somebody else or not w/ that person anymore so there is obviously a delay in when the celebs do their shoots/interviews and when it goes to press.. also I agree w/ her on the Clomid thing. I’ve done it for 4 months in a row now and it takes such an emotional toll on you. Your hormones are crazy! If I could do it naturally, I totally would. So good for her – she was blessed and she deserves it.

  20. ellie Says:

I think it is very strange that celebs who have difficulties getting pregnant get pregnant on thier own with twins. Now, I am not saying this is not possible just strange to me that this has been happening a lot lately!

  21. Melanie S Says:

OMG!!! She is soooo beautiful in this picture. She looks so peaceful…

  22. paula Says:

Come on, CelebBabyLover, if you believe all the twins in Hollywood are conceived naturally, I’ve got a bridge somewhere to sell you.
I’ve read several interviews from her and she has consistently stated that she did not use ivf or Clomid. Talking from personal experience, there are several OTHER infertility treatments and meds that greatly increase the chance for multiples. There are also some incredible treatments on the horizon. I expect an even bigger twin boom in Hollywood in the next few years since they are the ones who will be most able to afford them. It’s just the reality of the times, and I wish people were more open about it.

  23. Ali Says:

People should remember that she is almost six feet tall so, what might look like a huge belly on a much smaller person, might not look so huge on her. And they do indeed shoot editorials like this at least a month in advance. I doubt that they photoshopped her belly to look smaller.

FYI regarding clomid – it stays in your system for at least the cycle after you’ve taken it. It could have affected her cycle without her realizing it.

  24. Nika Says:

WOW she looks sooooo gorgeous!! And that dress! I would walk around in it all day if I looked like that! ;-)

  25. SH Says:

I really didn’t mean that they’d make it smaller – just photoshop in general – like make the belly a more desireable perfect shape…they’d probably do the same with her “puppies” as she calls them, and also her back side. It’s the cover of a magazine – realistically I’d say there’s a 99% chance they’d tweek it a little – she still looks great though in all the real pics we see of her too…

  26. Charity Says:

I really relate to Rebecca’s comment taht she dreamed of decorating her baby’s nursery while the other girls were dreaming of their wedding day.

  27. CelebBabyLover Says:

paula- I never said that ALL the twins in Hollywood have been coniceved naturally. Obviously that’s not the case (and FYI, the reason I believe Rebecca is because of what she said about not liking the way clomid “messed with” her horomones. I doubt she was exactly eager to try other fertility treatments that would do the same thing!)

Anyway, what I hate is that people seem to assume that ALL the twins in Hollywood have been concieved with fertility treatments. Everytime a post is made about a celeb having twins, people say things like “She obviously had fertility treatments!”

Obviously it’s also not the case that ALL the twins in Hollywood were concieved with fertility drugs.

Some are, but some aren’t, and I wish we could at least give some of these celebs (especially the younger ones such as Rebecca and Angelina Jolie. Obviously with celebs who are either over or close to 40, there’s a pretty good chance that fertility treatments were used) the benefit of the doubt!

I must ask, why is that everyone assumes that ALL celebs who have had twins use fertility treatments?

  28. CelebBabyLover Says:

Oh, and I really hope that Rebecca and Jerry’s girls turn out to be identical (despite what Jerry’s said about them being fraternal, there’s actually no way to tell that before birth as far as I know), so people will get off their backs with the fertility treatment claims.

Identicals are pure luck. They don’t run in familes, and only one fertility treatment increases the chances of them (that’s ICSI, which involves injecting a sperm directly into an egg, and thus tampering with the egg “shell”, making it more likely that the egg will split in two).

  29. paula Says:

CelebBabyLover, I also don’t think that ALL celeb twins are the result of fertility treatments, but I do believe that the MAJORITY of them are. Statistically the chance of having twins is less than 3% for the average person. People seem to think that the chance increases over the age of 35, but the difference is marginal. Fertility drugs, such as Clomid, and certainly ivf increase the chance enormously. Unfortunately there still is a stigma to using fertility drugs so most celebs won’t admit it. RR admitted to using Clomid a couple of times, so she was definitely pursuing fertility treatments at some point and there are other meds that don’t have the same side effects as Clomid. In any case, the Clomid stays in your system for awhile, so it still could have caused the twins. I’ve used fertility treatments several times and so I guess I don’t have a negative view of them…I’m always very open and honest about it and don’t feel they should be viewed negatively.

  30. SH Says:

There are several ways (especially if you have money) to tell if your twins will be identical or fraternal before they are born.

  31. CelebBabyLover Says:

    SH- Like how?

  32. lynn Says:

If you have only one placenta, theyre definitely identical. If there are two placentas, could be fraternal or identical.
