Michelle Monaghan Welcomes Daughter Willow Katherine
Actress Michelle Monaghan and her husband Peter White have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Daughter Willow Katherine White arrived on Wednesday, November 5th in Los Angeles, Calif. A statement released by Michelle’s rep says that “the proud parents are overcome with joy.”
Michelle, 32, had announced her pregnancy in June and shared that they would be awaiting a delivery surprise. In September, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen performed a series of fun tests on Michelle to determine the sex of the baby. The results were wrong as the host told the expectant mom she would be having a boy! Later that month, Michelle — who was looking forward to motherhood — joked that she had been “suffering from scurvy for the last 15 years” as she was only craving fruit.

Willow Katherine is such a beautiful name, I’m sure she will more than live up to it.
I love her in Eagle Eye, I have seen it 3 times. Such a great film.
I guess Ellen was wrong then, didn’t she predict a boy ?

Wow, it seems like she’s only been pregnant for five minutes! Cute name, personally, I might have gone with Katherine Willow White as I’m not a massive fan of the alliteration of first name and last name, but I do think this is a cute combo. Congrats!

I LOVE the name Willow and I bet she is beautiful. Michelle is so pretty that it’s a guarantee Willow will be a cutie. I think Willow sounds so peaceful. Like Meadow (Paul Walkers daughters name). Very cute! I might have to write that on a list for myself too =)

I LOVE the name and by a strange coincidence, I decided 2 weeks ago, that when I have a daughter this will be her name, but I had chosen Willow Catherine. I love it!! GL!!

Aw, congrats to her! I’m just getting to know Michelle through Made of Honor and Eagle Eye and she was excellent in both movies so I hope we see more of her!
I love the name. Very cute! (And I may be the only person on the face of this planet who loves names with the same starting letter in both first and last names!)

Just heard yesterday that your daughter Willow was born! We are so excited for the two of you! Love the name. It seems like just yesterday that you were in my Kindergarten class. Hope that a picture of your new family appears in one of the movie magazines , so that all of your Winthrop fans can see Willow.

Congratulations, Michelle and Peter!! I saw all of Michelle’s movies and she was incredible! I will not be surprised if she appears in more movies after this.
It is funny that two of my favorite actresses are married to guys named Peter. Melina Kanakaredes is married to Peter Constantinides and Michelle Monaghan is married to Peter White. I hope it is also a good sign for me…that my next prince charming’s name will be Peter! Lol!

My mom and I just wanted to say congrats on your new baby girl! My mom use to babysit you and your brothers but she says that you would have been too young to remember. She still goes back and says hi to your mom every time she’s in town though. My mom says you have grown in to a gorgeous woman and you have a beautiful family, we’re both so happy for you.
