Why do they know it’s a boy? I’m pregnant with due date 27th of April and we still don’t know!? Strange..

Sarah, I looked up my ultrasound pictures and we knew we were having a baby boy by 13 weeks. It was confirmed certain by 20. Some techs are that good.

Wow, that’s only 4 days from my due date when I was pregnant with my daughter! I found out the sex at 16 weeks and that was in December. I would assume that due to his age, his wife must be a little older and probably has the high resolution ultrasounds done, or possibly an amnio done. Congrats to them!

We’re due in late March and we found out we were having a boy nearly 6 weeks ago at 15 and a half weeks along. I think it just depends on the tech. Most people don’t have ultrasounds that early in the pregnancy.

i found out the sex of my 2nd at my 13 week nuchal fold ultrasound. the tech said she was fairly sure but not to bet on it until the 20 weeker. gender can also be determined in the 1st trimester with a cvs (chorionic villus sampling) test.
