congratulations on honour marie she’s soo adoreable

Congrats on your beautiful baby, I my self am a mother. I have for wonderful children so i been through plenty of sleepless nights. Let me give you a tip my mom gave me when I had my first born, she said if the baby can sleep through the night, bathedher with lettuce leaf water, all you have to do is boil some water, put the lettuce in there and when is ready and in a good tempeture for the baby, put it in her tub and bath her with that, I assure you that she is going to have a wonderful night of sleep and you are also.

OMG, Jessica Alba is so totally the first person in the world to have a child, and actually take care of them and love them. OMG, she could not be more special. OMG, there needs to be an award for her!!!!
Start celebrating women who climb their way up from welfare while raising children and stop exalting self important work out gurus who think THEIR love for THEIR child is so profound.

I think she *was* breastfeeding and has stopped in the last month or so? She definitely breastfeed for the first three months or so, heh. You could see in the pictures!

And she may have a nanny but every time we see pictures of Jessica and/or Cash out with their little one, they’re always the ones dealing with the baby and getting all the cuddles.

Okay, I just took a closer look at the photo of Jessica in this post…and if it’s a recent photo of her, she’s definently still nursing!

Judith- For all we know, Honor IS eating some solid foods now. Jessica didn’t indicate anything one way or the other about that.

Of course she is getting milk at night. You don’t feed a baby solids in the middle of the night when they wake up (just like if it were you waking up, you’d probably choose a glass of warm milk, tea, or even plain old water over food to help you fall back asleep)!

All of that said…Honor is only five months old, and I’v heard that you aren’t supposed to start a baby on solids until they hit six months. Then again, I’ve also heard that you can start a baby on solids when they are anywhere from 4 months to 6 months old!

why is it that everyone feels that they are baby experts. let her raise her baby however she wants. who cares.

She was/is (?) nursing as far as I know. She was just photographed with a bottle of breastmilk recently. I think she either must pump extra for the nighttime, or Honor is on a mix of formula and breastmilk. I do know she has a nanny, so maybe the nanny or Cash gets up with Honor at night and gives her a pumped bottle? We don’t know.

First give a warm bath about half an hour before last feeding, then while the baby is still naked give him a gentle massage. They have growing pains and it helps them feel better. The last feeding no matter if you are breastfeeding or not should be a bottle. It requieres less effort from the baby and he will get more satisfied especially if he is used to be breastfed. It can be a wonderful opportunity for the daddy to bond with his child. If the baby is used to that from day one, he will never be confused ( It worked great for my 2 kids and for everyone who tried). Lastly, put the bassinet next to your bed and each time the baby cries, do not hold him but put gently your hand on their belly and rub it clockwise in silence. Most of the time they will fall back asleep.
