Christine Taylor Says Play Dates With Suri are ‘Just Like Any Other’

Becoming a big sister has been good for 6 ½-year-old Ella Olivia Stiller, says mom Christine Taylor in a new interview with OK! "It’s always just a great thing to see your kids connecting and you see the different stages," she explains. Whereas Ella "used to always be the one looking up to the older girls," Christine shares that since welcoming little brother Quinlin Dempsey, 3, her daughter has taken on "that kind of big girl role."
It’s a role she clearly relishes! Christine shared that Ella is an occasional playmate for 2 ½-year-old Suri Cruise, daughter of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Despite the collective fame of their parents, their time spent together is "just like any other play date," Christine says.
"[Suri's] amazing, [Tom and Katie] are terrific. When little kids get together you just let them do their thing and there’s no outside elements, you know what I mean?"
Ella and Quinlin are Christine’s children with husband Ben Stiller, whom she married in 2000.

I’m glad she said this about the playdates with Suri because people are always acting like Suri is never allowed to play (with other children). I bet she rea all the negative things about the Cruises and wanted to support them a little.

Sarita- ITA! Just because we don’t see Suri playing with other kids doesn’t mean that she never does.

soooo nice to hear that Suri goes on playdates and is social. I was beginning to wonder, seems like she’s always just with her parents…
