"My baby self weaned despite me trying to keep up the nursing! I find it so refreshing to hear Gwen talk about how hard she works to lose weight and keep herself in top shape. She looks great and has a beautiful family."

Rebekah Gibbs Finds Hope in Daughter Gigi

When a person is diagnosed with cancer or another life-threatening disease, they look for something to continue to make them smile and bring sunshine into their life. For former Casualty star Rebekah Gibbs, that source is her 9 ½-month-old daughter Gigi, who "is growing fast and can now get herself into a standing position. She looks so proud of herself when she does it and I’ve been making videos to show the grandparents."

Battling stage-3 breast cancer since the beginning of the year, Rebekah "had to take Gigi to hospital with me" while she underwent treatment. Gigi "sat there, watching me have my tests, and her eyes widened, as though she was thinking, ‘What’s going on?’," Rebekah shared. Even though Rebekah doesn’t "think her little eyes need to see things like that yet … it was actually great having her with me" and others in the waiting area enjoyed seeing Gigi as well. "She was head to toe in pink –- a real vision –- and she made everyone laugh in the waiting area, gurgling, waving and trying to escape from her [stroller]."

That first sentence is a very sweeping statement, and not one I agree with.
