"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

HandMeDowns.com: Raising the Bar on Children’s Classifieds

Online shopping can be a daunting task: Sifting through tons of ads on Craigslist or eBay for the perfect, gently-used item takes a lot of time — not to mention, a lot of patience. HandMeDowns.com, a new website for resourceful families, takes the hard work out of online shopping for your children. The site accepts postings from other moms who are looking to sell clothing, shoes, baby gear and more (and even services such as nannying and house-cleaning), and connects them with other moms in their area; so far, 20 major cities are included on the site and they are adding more! It also draws in posts for second-hand clothing and gear from five top classified sites like Craigslist and eBay, doing the web-browsing work for you.

People who want to sell items can name their price, and also offer items for free or to the company’s partner charity, Baby2Baby. Not only are users helping each other — and those in need — but they’re helping the environment as well, recycling gently used items instead of throwing them away. It’s guilt-free shopping at its easiest!
