Detroit Red Wings’ Ty Conklin Welcomes Son Nash

Detroit Red Wings’ Ty Conklin, 32, and his wife Erika welcomed son Nash Conklin on Saturday, November 15th. The couple’s third child weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz. Despite Ty being a professional goaltender, he does not want his son in that position.
"He won’t be a goalie. I wouldn’t do that to him. He can be a forward and score goals — that’s more fun."
Nash joins a three-year-old sister and 18-month-old brother.
