I diaper with the best intentions. I always intend to use cloth, but it doesn’t always happen. I use BG’s, too, and LOVE them. One other really great thing about them is that they never leak, either!
I’ve never heard of the EC term. We started sitting our girl on the potty at 6 months. It’s just what we learned while we lived in Asia. Most of the world potty trains much sooner than we do, so I think we’re doing it wrong somehow.

I use the Bumgenius one size pocket diapers to great effect. They began fitting my newborn well at 9lbs (which was just 2 weeks in our case)as those newborn thighs are just too skinny! And my 3 yr old son wore them right before he potty learned at night. At just under $18 they are a good deal, IMO. Some larger Targets actually carry them now too which gives you a chance to try them without paying shipping.

Been using these diapers for a year. Though I like the eariler version (2.0) better, I love using them. Super easy. I look forward to using them with another baby too!

I use these and think they are great, too. However, every so often you will have tp take a large needle and rip fuzz and pet hair out of the velcro. They don’t leak very often, unlike the Fuzzi Buns that I tried, which leak all the time. I also like that I only have to buy one set of diapers. They are also easy to wash and come clean without stains; except for diaper cream, which does stain, but seems to come out eventually.

We’ve used BG 3.0 one sized diapers for the past 10m (our daughter is 11m). They work wonderfully! They are our work horse night diaper and we’ve never had a leak with them.

I’ve been cloth diapering pretty happily since 2003 and my only wish is that BumGenius was available sooner! We’ve been thrilled since our switch.
