A very pregnant Jennifer Garner and daughter Violet Affleck, 2 ½, make their way through LAX on Friday. The duo — and dad Ben Affleck — have a lot to celebrate in the days ahead; not only is it Thanksgiving on Thursday, but Violet’s third birthday on Monday, December 1st!

Jen’s face changes so much when she’s pregnant…I’m not sure how…I think it’s her eyes or around them. I don’t know but she always looks so much softer and beautiful (not saying she’s not beautiful otherwise) when she’s pregnant. Violet is so cute <3

Violet is always so happy!I can’t believe she’s already 3!It seems yesterday when Jen was pregnant with Violet!And now she’s having another gorgeous baby!I can’t wait!I bet she’s due in late December,but I wouldn’t surprised If she will give birth in ealry January,her bump looks really small!About the sex,I think she’s having a boy but another Violet would be so cute.I can’t imagine a male version of Violet and I can’t imagine another Violet:she’s too unique and precious!

Aww her little pigtails are so cute and really long! I would like their next child to be a little girl because Violet would make an awesome big sister to a girl. However, I am sure if it’s a little boy he’ll be gorgeous.

Like you ERIKA, I think I prefer Jen pregnant as well. Somehow she looks softer and and sweeter with a little more weight especially in her face. I don’t think she would agree with us however. lol Anyway, I can’t wait for the next little Affleck baby. Oh and Little Miss Violet, she is such a delightful child with those killer dimples. Love her to pieces!

Ok I don’t want anyone thinking I am saying anything bad, I was just wondering is she flying, cause I’ve heard your not supose to fly after a certin point. I could be wrong though and I figured this would be the best place to get the answer LOL

SARA- I, too, think she’ll give birth in January. I also think her bump is still on the small side (in fact, I just saw a photo of her-The one from a few weeks ago of her in a brown shirt/dress grocery shopping-in this week’s issue of PEOPLE Magazine, and my first thought was that she doesn’t look to be as far along as many people have thought).
Also, the fact that they are apparently flying somewhere (presumably for Thanksgiving, and I’m guessing Boston) tells me that she’s probably not due for awhile yet.

Lacey, i was thinking the same….I knew you are not suposed to fly if you are already 7 months pregnant, but maybe I’m wrong…or maybe her due date is early february?
Anyway, Violet is adorable!

Unless you’re doctor tells you otherwise (other factors), its normally 36 weeks. I think thats the end of the 8th month.

The general rule is that you are not suppose to fly once in your third trimester (7+months) but with them flying on a private plane the rules may be different becuase you see alot of celebrities flying in the third trimester. maybe the dr is with them…

In some ways i think she is carrying smaller because it is a boy. but maybe she is just carrying smaller because she is watching what she is eating where last time she let loose when pregnant and maybe it is a girl again. So hard to tell

I don’t have children yet, so someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I always thought you couldn’t fly without a doctor’s note in your 3rd trimester. Maybe she has permission? Again, maybe someone could verify.

i recenly asked my dr the same thing as i’m planning to travel for both upcoming holidays and the inauguration in jan, she told me i can fly up to 34 weeks (i’m 20 now, and that’s a little more than 8 mos), and even after if it’s not too far away… so i’m guessing if she’s planning to have the baby outsside of l.a and as long as she remains under dr.’s care, all is well…

You do not necessarily carry smaller with a certain sex or another. You usually gain less with the 2nd because you are so busy with the 1st. I was much smaller with my 2nd but it was still a girl, even though the pregnancy felt and looked different the sex was the exact same.

My doc said I could fly up to 34 or 36 weeks and I’m high risk. He said as long as you are not in any real of chance of going into labor it’s OK. I think what’s OK really depends on the patient, the doctor, and the airline.

Another reason I think Jennifer isn’t due until January at the earliest is because of how the “timelines”, so to speak, of her pregnancy with Violet and this one differ.
With Violet, her pregnancy was pretty much confirmed (and was pretty obvious!) in May of 2005 (her Alias cast-mates confirmed it, and PEOPLE magazine had someone confirm it to them as well), and she confirmed it herself in June of 2005 (which was also when she and Ben got married). Then Violet was born on December 1, 2005.
This pregnancy, on the other hand, did not become obvious until late July of this year, and Jennifer confirmed it in late August of this year (specifically, August 20th).
That makes me think that she isn’t due until January or February.
