I live in Montreal & its a name that is really making a comeback. I know 4 Eloise that were born within the last year. Perhaps part of the appeal is that it sounds great both in French & English. You could also spell it Heloise.

I love, love, LOVE the name Eloise. I am trying to convince my husband that if we have a daughter we should name her Eloise.

Congratulations! That middle name is pretty long but I love the baby's first name! My sister is Eloïse too (spelt with a diaeresis on the I) and she always gets compliments on her name
