"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Only days after saying he was extremely "excited" for the arrival of his son, former Blue member Lee Ryan, 25, and his fiancée Samantha Miller welcomed their baby boy. Rain Amethyst Lee is the couple’s first child and weighed in at around 8 lbs. No further details have been released.

In June it was announced that Samantha was pregnant, but the couple officially confirmed the news in a spread with Hello! magazine, where they also revealed they were expecting a baby boy. In the same interview, Samantha hinted that, despite some doubts, they were leaning toward the name Rain Amethyst, saying it "sounds great."

Samantha’s due date had been this coming Thursday, the 4th.

that’s different. I’ve always thought Amethyst would be a pretty name

  2. Daisy Says:

    Rain Ryan?

Not feeling it, but congratulations are in order anyway.

  3. Nelle Says:

When I read ‘Rain Amethyst Lee’ what a sweet name, but must admit I thought they were announcing the birth of a daughter.
Very sweet, but personally I prefer very masculine male names.

  4. Ruthella Says:

    Sounds like a girl’s name to me…

Lee is somewhat known for his, shall we say, controversial behaviour though, so comes as no surprise!

  5. Kirsty Says:

It’s a bit of a girly name and Rain Ryan doesn’t really flow but oh well.

I’ve met Lee twice and he is a lovely man so I’m sure he’ll be a great dad.

  6. Philippa Says:

I can’t say I like this name for a boy, Rain Amethyst sounds a bit girlie to me. And I don’t think Rain Ryan flows very well.
But as long as they’re happy with it it’s great!
It’ll probably grow on me like Zuma, I didn’t like it at first either but now I think it’s alright.

  7. phoebe Says:

That would be such a beautiful name for a girl. On a boy….not so much.

  8. Alex Says:

The name is completely feminine. They should have at least used a boy middle name.

Rain Joseph/Christopher would have been better.

  9. Caroline Says:

    Thanks for the credit!
