Gator Golf: A Hole in One!

Just in time for the chilly months, bring the fun of miniature golf home with Playskool’s Gator Golf ($21). My 3 1/2 year old daughter discovered mini-golf down the shore this Summer and loved it.  She was very excited to play once again, putting into an adorable orange alligator.

The game, which requires minimal set-up, is aimed for children aged 3+ and can be played with one to two players, indoors and outdoors, (but best indoors on a low-pile carpet). The concept of the game is to putt the ball into the friendly gator’s mouth (earning a point for each putt). Once the player makes four points, s/he wins! 

Pros: The greatest thing about this game is that it requires NO BATTERIES!  Once you putt the ball into the gator’s mouth, he returns the ball with a swish of his tail. When we began to play, the first thing my daughter said was that "He needs batteries, he needs to talk," but the more we played, the more excited she became when she sunk a putt and was returned the ball by the gator’s tail.

Cons: The only thing that this game is missing are golf club extenders to accomodate growing/older children. 

All in all, "Gator Golf" is a hole in one!
