Sasha Schreiber is a Backpack Baby!

On dad’s back is one of his favorite places to be! Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete Schreiber takes in the view from up high while out for a walk with Liev Schreiber and Miv, Naomi Watts‘ mum (not pictured).
With the arrival of grandma from Australia, could that possibly mean the delivery date is upon us? Or is it simply a holiday visit? Time will tell! In any case, Sasha, 16 months, will welcome a sibling this winter.

girlJordan….my brother-in-law and his wife have one of those backpack carriers for their daughter, and my sis-in-law put my my niece in it and then helped my brother-in-law put it on. I don’t know if there is a way you can do it by yourself or not.

Naomi is clearly about to have this baby anyday now! Obviously she is too pregnant to fly, so it only makes sense that grandma flies in to see another grandbaby be born!

Yes you can do it yourself, but you have to put the baby in first and then carefully put it up on your back.

You put the baby in before you put it on your bag, and then take it off your bag and then get the baby out.
I found these back carriers very useful! I could have one on the back and two in the stroller. I will definately use one again when my twins are born.
On another note, Sasha is gorgeous and I can’t wait to find out what she has!

Oh, oh, yes. Gramma Watts is in town. This can only mean the baby is about to arrive. I mean she’d be there to help with the big brother while his parents are busy with the baby. Oh yeah, my money is on a birth in the next two weeks or so! A Christmas baby perhaps!

I am totally in love with little Sasha. He is soooo cute! I love his expression. He is always so serious in pics. I also think he is going to be a big brother any day now.

Sasha is just too cute! He is going to make a fabulous big brother.
I’m thinking Naomi will give birth in the next few weeks. A nice little Christmas present for the family.

The carrier/backpack he’s wearing is made by Kelty. It’s the “Kelty TC 2.1 Child Carrier”, which retails for $120, but is on sale at Sierra Trading Post for around $80. I own one of the older Kelty backpack carriers which is much bulkier and cumbersome. The lighter weight TC 2.1 is awesome! Perfect for daytrips into New York City and running errands around town.
