Suri Cruise Helps Mom Fill ‘Stockings With Care’

They’re making a list and checking it twice!Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did a little holiday shopping on Katie’s day off from the theater — but not for trinkets for little Suri.
Shortly after New York City’s famed toy store, FAO Schwarz,closed Sunday, the couple slipped in to go on a little shopping spreefor children they don’t even know.
They areexpected to pile up shopping carts full of dolls, toys, books, andgames to donate to Stockings with Care, a not-for-profit organizationthat gives gifts to children in need. The organization, founded in 1992, assists homeless andnear-homeless families by fulfilling thousands of needy children’s"wish lists" for presents to open on Christmas morning to "create themagic of Christmas."

I think this is very sweet, and to involve Suri in that makes her a beautiful person. Even if she doesn’t know what she’s doing now, she’ll know someday.

In recent months Katie has become one of my favorite celebrity moms, I love that she is involving Suri at such a young age. Suri gets cuter by the day.

I think it is wonderful that Tom and Katie are helping out Stockings with Care. I wish more people could help. BTW, I can’t believe how big Suri is getting. She is so cute!

I saw this earlier on People and thought how nice it was especially having Suri there with them. There’s more pics on some other sites but they had them labeled as a shopping spree for Suri. Glad that CBB is getting the proper info out. I think it’s good to get the word out on a good cause.

This is really sweet of them,I love how Katie involves Suri in almost everything. They’re one of my fave celeb Mom/Daughter duo.

AWWW how sweet is that! I also love how Tom and Katie included Suri in on it. She might not remember it this year but in the years to come she will remember it. I love Suri’s dress also. It’s so important for children to know that they are loved especially on Christmas morning because it’s supposed to be so magical! And to do it for children that you don’t know and will never know and the children also will never know that they are from you is such a sweet and selfless act. Very heartwarming! Thanks for these pictures CBB.

This is a sweet photo. I also think it’s a very sweet thing to do for a lot of reasons. Not only is it a lovely thing to do for a very deserving charity, but this is a great opportunity for Katie to show Suri that not all children have as much as she does. She’s a little too young to understand the concept of that now, but if the family continues to do this wonderful thing as she grows up, that’s something she will understand more and more. I just think this is such a beautiful gesture.

Way cool! That’s great what Katie is doing and how she’s involving Suri in it. While she might not completely grasp the concept that these are for boys and girls have very little and will rely on donations from charities for them to get a Christmas, she will in the years to come. That’s great!

I love that she did the shopping at FAO! Those kids are going to DIE of excitement on Christmas morning! They have such great things there.
