Katie Holmes took 2 ½-year-old Suri to see the bright lights of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center in New York City on Friday evening. After watching the eight-ton, 72-foot Norway spruce light up the night, mom and daughter stopped at nearby Dean & DeLuca for a treat.

I love that Katie said that she was seeing New York at Christmas for the first time through Suri’s eyes. Christmas is such a magical time it must be more so when you have small children.

Am I the only person who thinks that this child looks nothing like Tom and quite a lot like L. Ron Hubbard? Quite creepy when you think about the fact that he had sperm put on ice before he died. How far does Tom’s love of Scientology go…?

72 foot tree? WOW! I knew the Rockefeller center tree was tall, but my goodness! That makes my real tree (which is about 7 feet tall), seem tiny in comparasion!
