Ryan and Trista Sutter Expecting a Baby Girl!
Seth Browarnik/Startraks |
Despite her earlier comments that she and her husband Ryan Sutter simply wanted a healthy baby, Trista Sutter tells In Touch Weekly that, after recently finding out they are expecting a baby girl, the couple couldn’t be more thrilled! A true family affair in the ultrasound room — including their 16-month-old son Maxwell ‘Max’ Alston — everyone was on hand to hear the big news.
"It was such a fun surprise. We went to our last ultrasound appointment with Ryan’s parents, my parents, and Max and we were all in the room together when the doctor said, ‘It’s a girl!’ Everyone got so teary-eyed and emotional."
A self-proclaimed "girly-girl," the Bachelorette star "can’twait to dress her up in cute little outfits" and, eventually, take herfor her first manicure! According to the proud mama, the couple havealready picked out a name for their daughter — but won’t be sharinguntil the birth in April.

Aww congrats to them, they are really lucky. Trista had such a hard time getting pregnant, and to be blessed with children is so wonderful but it’s a bonus to get a son and a daughter, especially considering trista said this will be her last child.

I was hoping she would have a girl. Of course it shouldn’t matter, but before she had max, I could picture her having a girl. I’m so happy for both of them and pray that the delivery will be safe and easy.

Did she meet her husband on the Bachelorette show??? What does Ryan Sutter do for a living?

She seems like she really wanted a girl even though they claim they wanted just a healthy child. Why do people seem to obsess over the sex of their unborn. This is the problem with finding out before hand. Why do people think it is ideal to have a boy & a girl? I personally think girls are much harder once they hit their teen years. To be honest I am kind of sick of this couple, why are they famous again? She seems very annoying to me.

i have a question : is that common for future parents to bring people to appointement like ultrasound?
i’m from france and the whole pregnancy-delivery part is quite private. at least in my family! in fact, i’ve seen in a couple of american movie people such as grand parents and friends waiting in the hospital for the baby to be born and it’s not exactly like that in france : the future parents go to the hospital and once the baby is born they give a call to family and friends so that they can come and see the newborn.
in fact i’ve never heard of couple bringing their parents to ultrasound or during the delivery. from people i know it’s just between the future father and the future mother. eventually a kid if it’s to show what will happen to mommy.

Aww. I’m so happy for them! That is going to be one cute family!

daze- i think it is more common now that it has been in the past to have people other than your spouse or child at your ultrasound appt with you. I had my best friend at mine along with my husband. And when I delivered my cousin and a couple of my friends in my room and about ten people in the waiting room. Some people might see that as strange but I guess its all about your comfort level and who you want around you when you give birth. There is nothing wrong with keeping it private either.
and congrats to Trista and Ryan!! I’m sure their lil girl will be just as adorable as Max!

Congrats to them
lol I immediately thought “oh wow…she’ll be worse than Tori Spelling”
I don’t mean that in a negative way…just way more princess and pink and dressed up.

It’s a girl? Oh, Lord, I think that little girl is in for it with everything girly. I’m just waiting for an interview when the baby gets older and doesn’t want to wear what Trista picked out for her…lol.
December 11th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
i’m glad she’s getting her little girl!
December 11th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
Daze, no, it’s not that unusual to have your family with you at the hospital. It’s quite common in fact. I guess it’s just a cultural difference here.
Congrats to the Sutter household on their coming baby girl!

I don’t think they said they were having another boy — if I recall correctly, Trista said that, despite being a “girly girl,” she would be happy with another son because Max is such a great kid.
I’m glad they’re going to have one of each. That’s really lovely.

Watch the baby have April in her name, I like the name April. I really like month names, actually. April, June.
Pretty.
