Delgo: A Kids’ Holiday Film That Doesn’t Stink!

The latest crop of family-friendly films for the holiday have left something to be desired, but I’m excited to see Delgo, a new animated fantasy-action-adventure film for kids. At first, when their PR company was diligently pitching the movie, I was a little unimpressed until I heard about its back story. Most animated films nowadays have a few celebrities attached, but Delgo’s entire cast is star-studded. But what’s even more impressive is that Delgo is not backed by a major studio — it’s an independent film, which means that the entire production has been a true labor of love for everyone involved.
