A rep for Law & Order: Criminal Intent has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that actress Julianne Nicholson and her husband Jonathan Cake are expecting their second child! Although the 37-year-old actress has yet to discuss the news herself, the rep shares that the show’s writers are currently "weighing various options" when it comes to tying her pregnancy into the series. "At this point, there is no definite plan," notes the rep.

While the writers devise plans to deal with Julianne’s burgeoning belly, they may consider the strategy the franchise used three years ago when Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay revealed she was expecting! The show decided to schedule shooting around her pregnancy until she gave birth to her son in June 2006.

The new baby will join big brother Ignatius, 15 months.

   Ananya – I’m not sure cool was the opinion I had, but that’s certainly one way of looking at it! It’s not that there’s anything wrong with either name, it’s just a combination that I doubt many children have. Personally, I’m not fond of Ignatius, it’ll just be interesting to hear what baby number two will be called! Congrats to the family!

   Maybe he is called “Iggy” for short? I notice a lot of celeb moms have their kids close together. I think it is a good idea. My two daughters are 16 mos. apart. At first, it was hard, but got easier. They are now 32 and 31 and are best friends.. Good luck to Julieanne, hubby and “Iggy”. Hope you have more of a down to earth name for your new born..
