Joel Madden ‘Definitely Not Against Adopting’

While pregnant with daughter Harlow Winter Kate, 11 months, Nicole Richie — who was legally adopted by singer Lionel Richie at the age of 9 — said that she was open to the possibility of someday adding to her family with partner Joel Madden via adoption. Joel tells OK! that the couple’s stance remains unchanged. "I’m definitely not against adopting," the 29-year-old Good Charlotte singer and UNICEF celebrity ambassador explains. "I went to Central African Republic and fell in love with the place…If I was going to adopt, it would probably be from there." He adds,

"Nicole and I are very happy and eventually we’d love to have more kids, especially if they can all be as easy and wonderful as Harlow!"

Harlow is the first child for the couple, who began dating in 2007.

   I hope they have a lot of children. I think celebs should have bigger families, especially because they have so much help and of course, money is not an issue.
