Clay Aiken is ‘Ready For a Little Action’

From starting a family with best friend Jaymes Foster to making his Broadway debut in Monty Python’s Spamalot, for Clay Aiken, the past year has been filled with good fortune. While the long list of accomplisments is impressive, Clay has no trouble prioritizing his achievements as he names the birth of his son Parker as the obvious highlight of not only 2008, but all of his 30 years. “At the end of the day, Parker is the most important thing of the year, and of my life, without question,” says the former American Idol singer, who adds that having a son is a memory that will stay with him “forever.”
With the year drawing to a close, the curtain is also ready to fall on Clay’s time on Broadway, as he is set to perform his last show on January 4th. However, the proud papa has already booked his schedule for the next few months, opting to “take a little bit of time” to spend with his 4-month-old baby boy. After all, as a first-time dad who looks forward to the future with his family, Clay is well aware that in the coming months, quality downtime will be somewhat of a rarity! “I may never have any free time once Parker starts walking and talking,” laughs Clay. Although fully enjoying life with baby Parker, the singer admits that he is more than ready for the days spent chasing a rambuctious toddler!
“I want to spend time with Parker. He’s still uber-dependent. I’m ready for him to start talking. I’m ready for a little action!”

Strange. The baby seems to have a darker complexion. Well, maybe its just the light. Cute!

Really curious about the living arrangements. Do they all live together? Or separate residences and shared custody? I know it’s none of my business, but just wondering how they make it all work

They are both parents to Parker so they both share custody. They live together most of the time depending on their work schedule. When Parker starts school they will both live in NC.

They live together like any other family with a mom, dad and baby. They will raise Parker and any other children they have together. Clay described it like a separated couple that still loves each other dearly, only without the romantic complications.

Just curious – how does everyone know Clay Aiken’s intimate custody and living arrangements?

I’m pretty sure that Clay has said himself(maybe in his People interview a few months back?) that he and Jaymes live together to raise Parker.

Michele to answer your question:
From interviews Clay has given to Diane Sawyer, People Magazine and ET.

So…am I the only one who think Clay and Jaymes look like they could be brother and sister?
And Clay may feel differently once the little dude is mobile and he can’t so much as pee without having a backup plan for the kid
