Katie Holmes and her mini sidekick, Chapstick-toting daughter Suri, 2 ½, display holiday cheer — in complementary sweaters! — as they head out Tuesday in New York City for some last-minute shopping. Dad is Tom Cruise, who recently told Regis & Kelly,

“Suri dresses herself [when] Kate lays the [clothes] out for her. She won’t wear pants, and it’s very difficult getting the coat on…But having a big sister helps, because she looks to Bella.”

   Looks like Suri finally agreed to wear jeans! LOL so cute, I know that Tom said in one of his interviews that Suri said “pants are for boys”. She is adorable!

   Suri makes me laugh – I love strong-willed kids who know darn well what they want! If Suri wants to wear dresses, I say let her (as long as it’s not completely impractical or unsafe) – she’ll outgrow the phase soon enough, and you have to admit, expensive and fancy as her clothes are, they’re absolutely darling!
