"I think it’s way more refreshing to hear a something like that, which was obviously a self-deprecating joke about her worries she and Liev are going to screw up, than an overblown comment like like, 'Oh my child is very into art' in a way that sounds like the kid is perusing Van Gogh at the National Gallery."

Louise and Jamie Redknapp Introduce Beau Henry

In the latest issue of Hello! magazine, Jamie and Louise Redknapp show off their latest addition – 6-week-old Beau Henry, whom they admit arrived a bit earlier than expected. Although Louise made it to 10 days before her due date, an ongoing battle with endometriosis led her to believe that she’d experience difficulty in having another baby. To their delight, Beau was conceived just one month after the couple began trying. “Never in a million years did I think that I would be sitting here now, gazing at my five-week-old baby,” she explains. “By this stage, I guess I assumed we would be thinking, ‘Right, it’s not happening, so what are we going to do?…’Are we going to go down the same route we went down before?’” She adds,

“Because it all happened so fast this time round, this past year has just felt like a bit of a whirlwind…it’s been an amazing year for us.”

One thing that was never in doubt was the couple’s commitment to making their first child, 4-year-old Charley William, a big brother. “I really didn’t want Charley to be an only child,” says Jamie. “I’m so close to my brother Mark, who’s three years older than me, and I really wanted Charley to have that.” Now that Beau has arrived Jamie says “it feels like we’re a proper unit, the four of us.” The couple have other reasons to count their blessings, as well! Reveals Louise,

“‘Touch wood, so far Beau has been a really easy baby. He sleeps and feeds pretty well and he seems really calm and contented. We’ve been so lucky.”

How come all these babies are so easy…. I’ve never heard a celeb say they had a fussy baby, or a not sleeping baby…

  2. phoebe Says:

I love Louise, but could Hello! have possibly picked a worse photo of her for the cover? She’s so beautiful, but that photo really doesn’t show that. Congrats on the baby, Charley is gorgeous so I’m sure Beau will be as well. I’ll definitely be picking up my copy.

You can see a picture of Beau here – http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1100466/The-picture-Louise-Redknapp-introduces-newborn-baby-Beau.html

  4. CelebBabyLover Says:

Noelle- Actually, some celebs HAVE spoken out about how difficult life with a newborn can be. For example, Mylenne Klauss admitting finding new motherhood hard a few months after she welcomed Ava.

  5. Bumbles Says:

Maybe Beau has been an easier baby for them than Charley was and being second time parents they are bound to be more relaxed too. My SIL just had a second baby who is an absolute dream but her first was a nightmare – perfect babies are possible even if you are famous!
