Rudy and Iris Law Point It Out

Tags: Dads, Kids

While vacationing in South America with ex-wife Sadie Frost and their children, actor Jude Law went for a stroll with son Rudy, 6, and daughter Iris, 8, before going for a swim (and later, a boat ride!). The family, including son Rafferty, 12, has been on holiday below the equator since just after Christmas.

Jude, 36, and Sadie, 43, finalized their divorce in 2003. Sadie also has a son, Finlay Munro, 18, from a previous marriage.

Very nice that these exes are such friends that they can take vacations together with the kids. They’ve done that several times over the past few years. These kids will have memories of the special places they’ve visited that will include both mom and dad, and that’s very nice for them. Family first.

They’re in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

My husband & I went on a vacation with his kids, his exwife, her new husband, & her mother last summer to Rocky Point. We do it for the kids. We do not want them to feel uncomfortable. Most people think we are crazy for doing so.

love jude law. haven’t heard anything about him in awhile.

  5. sheryl Says:

Tracy, it’s not crazy as long as you all are comfortable and the kids know and feel you are comfortable. I think it’s very possible for people to acknowledge their situations and to keep things as whole for the children as possible, if possible. I know people who have holiday dinners together and even take their children’s step- and half siblings places with them. Obviously this isn’t for all couples, but if things can be sorted out properly and everybody has moved on, then kudos to them.

  6. sheryl Says:

Also, I think your story, as well as what Jude and Sadie are doing, show people that there are other possibilities besides what we’ve always been accustomed to, where children rarely share experiences with both parents because of what’s almost become expected behavior between divorced parents.

    That daddy is hot!
