Checkup Time for Jennifer Garner!

The Garner-Afflecks hold hands and smile for the photographers as they leave Cedars-Sinai on Sunday after a prenatal appointment. Jennifer and Ben expect their second child this month; the new baby will join big sister Violet Anne, 3. Will it be a baby boy Affleck, or a second daughter? Time will tell!

They are so cute! And it seems as if Jen has been pregnant foreverrr! I can’t wait to see Baby Affleck #2!

I doubt they were smiling for the cameras. I bet they were smiling because their second child is nearly here and the hospital likely told them that everything looks good. Who wouldn’t be all smiley after that?

Gosh, I can’t wait for her to give birth. I’m checking this site every hour waiting to hear the news! I hope it’s not too much longer!

haha I must admit that like Amber I’ve been checking sites almost obsessively waiting to hear on news of baby #2…hahaha I am quite possibly obsessed with this family (in the best way of course…haha) I just adore them and with each day we go into the new year I wait to hear because Jen looks like she is ready to pop for sure and with all these hospital visits, it’s just getting so exciting! This is the baby I’ve been waiting for and I cannot wait! Love this family I do!

I think that Jen looks SO MUCH like Violet when she is in this state – natural/no make-up! I mean Violet looks just like her anyway, but this just points it out more. They are both cuties!

I love how she was there for a “pre-natal appointment” . . .on Sunday. She must be getting close. I doubt she was there for a regularly scheduled OB appointment.

I mean I know they’re celebrities and all, but how many people have routine check ups on Sunday and on New Year?

I think she was there maybe because of early labor pains or false labor pains. I have never heard of scheduled pre-natal appointments on a Sunday. Unless they got special treatment because of being celebrities. My sister-in-law is a midwife at a hospital, and she is only ever there on a Sunday in case of a delivery.

device…Ben is just like his daughter having fruit in his hand..

O Connell and Rebecca Romijn gave birth to twins on the weekend..
So maybe Ben and Jen are next hope so

Annie- They are having a baby and from the looks of Jennifer’s belly pretty darn soon! I am sure their looks are the last thing on their mind…Plus Jennifer looks great she looks tired, but happy!

Seems as if a lot of us are anxiously waiting for news of this little Affleck #2 baby. I’m hoping for a boy because how can there possible be another Violet? lol How I love this couple and not just because they gave us Violet with her sweet dimples and adorable smiles charming ways but they just fit together so well. They are so much alike, like soulmates.

I thought that Jennifer Garner would have given birth before Rebecca Romijn. She must have been pretty early when we find out she was pregnant.

I’m so excited to find out what they’re having!! With how close they are to Matt Damon and his family it would be cute if they had another little girl, though it might be nice for Matt and (especially) Ben to have some more testosterone around too!
Either way, a baby born into this family is such a lucky kid. He or she will be surrounded with so much love, and Violet always looks like she’s having a great time with her parents.

They look great! Ben doesn’t need a shave, he looks good with a little scruff. My husband looks like that pretty much all the time. I hate it when my hubby shaves his scruff all off. He looks too young!

I love how they are so casual, esp. Jen. I mean, why shouldn’t they be, but they just seem like such “normal”, regular people. Can’t wait to hear the news!

Like other posters, I too have been checking this site frequently to see if Jen has delivered!!! I can’t wait for this baby to be born. It’s almost like me waiting for a call announcing the arrival of the newest member of our family. lol
I have to agree with Nikka, Ben is totally sexy unshaved. However, IMHO Ben is totally sexy no matter what he looks like (except for maybe that grizzly look he was sporting a couple months ago
)

This seems like such a long pregnancy, while rebecca and jerr’s twins seem to come so quickly. I think it’s because you see pictures of jennifer everyday at school, doctor’s, farmer’s market, so the pregnancy seems so long lol. I hope it’s a boy and takes after ben, because violet is totally a mini jen. I too love this family, ben is hot and so is jen and they seem like sweet people.

Anything you hear from Petit Tresor is a lie, so I wouldn’t depend on that.

It is killing me!!!! I keep checking to find out whether it has been born.. was away camping last few days and was sure i’d come back to find an announcment! They both look like happy very expectant parents! Hope it all goes well, such a beautiful family.

Ben said mid-January so I wouldn’t think Jen would have given birth much earlier than now. Liz, Petit Tresor makes up things all the time. That’s why CBB doesn’t report on anything they say…too many celebs have sued them for making up stories about what they’ve supposedly bought there.
That said, I kind of hope they have a boy (like one poster said, I can’t imagine there being another girl like Violet!). I think the electronic thing in her hand that someone asked about is her cell. I really doubt it’s twins. Jen really isn’t big at all. Ben looks great with the scruff and Jen looks positively radiant!

Liz- Don’t believe anything you hear from Petite Tressor. That place is notorious for making stuff up to get publicity (according to them, for example, both Jamie Lynn Spears and Jessica Alba were having boys. Both ended up having girls!)! Also, Jen wasn’t even in LA on the day they claimed she shopped at the store (she was out East with Ben and Violet)! In fact, CBB has stopped posting stuff about/from Petite Tressor because they are so unreliable!
And why are some people speculating that she might be having twins? She doesn’t look big enough to be carrying twins, and I have never heard of a celeb who’s had twins and kept it a secret up until the birth.

I’m sure they are smiling because it was a good appointment plus these two have always had a private chuckle at all the fuss made about them (when Jen is pg). I think both have admitted as much in interviews.
I doubt they are having twins. One cute baby boy would be my prediction

My birthday is a week away (13th) I am expecting baby no2 to be born before then.
I reckon, like with Violet, Jennifer and Ben will give their child a sensible name. I reckon if it’s a girl, they will name her after a flower (like Violet) and a boy something like Henry, James, William, Daniel etc

Violet was born 2 day’s after my dd same year. My ds’s Birthday is today so I am hoping today is the day, or within 2 day’s like our dd’s. I know I’m crazy.
