Check out that belly! Melanie Chisholm — who’s quickly approaching her February due date — shows off her progress at “A Celebration of the Bee Gees” at Battersea Evolution in London on Friday. The former Spice Girl performed — after receiving tummy rubs for luck! — at the event.
The baby, a delivery surprise, is the first for Mel, 35, and her partner, property developer Thomas Starr.
Melanie wears Isabella Oliver’s Satin Bow Dress in Black ($148).

Sanne, I don’t know if Mel has much contact with the other Spice mummy’s, she seems to be the one who is more independant from the group. I think it’s a boy, but it’s just a guess lol.

WOW! She just looks absolutely stunning. I can’t believe she’s due next month! This pregnancy seems to have flown by. And I’m not making a prediction based on her belly because I’m ALWAYS wrong! My gut says a baby boy. We’ll see.

Did she ever get married? I remember seeing her on a TV show over here where she mentioned she was thinking about it. It was a bit of a shock announcement for most this side of the pond.

No Ellen, she hasn’t gotten married and has recently said that doesn’t have any plans to do so at the moment, but that they will get married one day.

She’s looks glowing. She was my favourite spice girl when I was a kid. I thought there was no one cooler than her. I reckon it’s a boy but want it to be a girl.

Mel C was my favorite SPICE GIRL, along with Mel B, and I’m so happy for her! I know she’ll be a totally WICKED mother, and I can’t wait to see a picture of this little one! I honestly don’t think she’ll make it to next month! Good luck Mel and Thomas; I’m thrilled to bits for both of you!!!
