I’m sure that as a single mother and a person with such a high profile job, Rachida Dati felt that she had to come back to work soon (and as the article says President Sarkozy did announce major changes in the French justice system) and personally I would have a problem with it if she had a vaginal birth. But after a C-section!? What doctor in his right mind would allow his patient to do that? Here and in many other European countries a hospital stay after a section is 7 days.

Wow five days after a C-section thats crazy to me. I have a lot of respect for her. Welcoming & caring for a new child, recovering from a C-Section and returning to work (at such a high profile job at that) there’s a lot on her plate. If thats not considered one of many hard working women out there then I don’t know what is. I do agree that she should have taken a little bit more time after childbirth.
