"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Elisabeth Röhm Attached to Baby Weight

John Shearer/WireImage

As Elisabeth Röhm excitedly made her way to the Golden Globes after-parties Sunday night, parting ways with her 9-month-old daughter Easton August was bittersweet. Grateful for an evening out on the town with her girlfriends – one of her first such nights since becoming a mom — Elisabeth nonetheless had Easton’s latest and greatest milestone fresh in her mind. “She said goodbye to me for the first time…she kind of put it together that this is ‘Bye Bye,’” the 35-year-old actress tells PEOPLE. “I was like, ‘No, don’t say goodbye! I’m staying!”

From the sound of things, had Easton uttered the words any sooner Elisabeth might have skipped those after-parties, after all! As her experience as a mom has grown, so has her confidence, however.

“I’m kind of in my zone, I think a little bit more peaceful. I’m not that young, kind of bouncing off the walls as much as I used to be.”

Sporting a flowing Elie Tahari dress and Martin Katz jewels, Elisabeth revealed that she’s been working out three days a week in an effort to reclaim her pre-baby body. As is so often the case, the last 10 pounds of baby weight are proving to be tough to shed — physically, as well as emotionally. She adds,

“Losing baby weight is very hard…because you’re attached to your baby weight. You like it.”

Easton is Elisabeth’s daughter with fiancé Ron Wooster.

I like Elisabeth Rohm, but I do not like my baby weight! haha!! I think she is beautiful though so she can stand to like her extra weight.

  2. Christine Says:

    Ummm…no.
I was not attached to my babyweight. It was attached to me.
And I did NOT like it! lol!
Have we seen pics of Easton yet?

Just her debut in Life & Style last spring – we haven’t seen her out and about!

Yeah, um, I have to agree….I’m NOT attached to my baby weight. It does not bring back fond memories of pregnancy because there isn’t a baby under it…just more fat! Silly lady!

  4. M Says:

I love my stretch marks and extra ‘poodge’ :p Having lost so many angel babies, they are wonderful signs that I carried my two earthbound babes to term. I only wish I had stretch marks and extra weight from all of my babies being there as long as they should have been, I’d more than happily accept it all! :)

  5. April Says:

Maybe if she likes it she *should* keep it? She looks great and healthy, so why not? Fight Hollywood’s fascist body standards!

  6. Jenna Says:

I thought Elisabeth and Ron were supposed to get married last fall.

  7. Katie Says:

Attached to my baby weight! Are you kidding?
