Kevin and Kyra Bring Sosie to the SAGs
Someone is growing up! Flanked by actor parents Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, 16-year-old Sosie Ruth Bacon smiles at the SAG Awards, held Sunday in Los Angeles. Sosie also has an older brother, Travis, 19.
Explaining why he’s proud of his children, Kevin recently told Redbook that, “If you are a compassionate human being who can relate to a lot of different kinds of people and cares about the world outside of [your] own sphere, then that’s a tremendous success. Our kids could go off and be actors or singers or work at McDonald’s for the rest of their lives if I felt they were truly happy.”

Wow! She is breathtakingly beautiful! And I can’t say I see either of her parents in her. Stunning! And her mom, wow! She’s a knockout in that picture. What a beautiful family and I love them as a couple!

She looks just like her mom, gorgeous! And Kyra’s dress at the SAG awards was one of my favorites. Very classic looking.

I made a comment earlier about how I thought Ireland Baldwin’s outfit and make-up were a bit inappropriate for a 13-year old. Now I see this picture of a 16-year old, three years older than Ireland, and I notice Sosie’s outfit and make-up are a bit more age-appropriate. She looks 16, not 25, which is nice to see.

I know I’ve said it before, but she’s a beautiful young lady. She’s a perfect blend of her parents, too. I can see her mom in her, the eyes and the nose, but her smile makes me think of Kevin.
I hope Kevin has some artillery on hand when the boys come around, if they haven’t already…lmao.

What a gorgeous girl! I think she looks so much like her mom, and I don’t see any of Kevin in there at all. Her name is very unusual. Does anyone know its signifiance?

In comparison to Ireland Baldwin, Sosie Bacon actually looks and is dressed her age. I think she has Mom’s eyes and cheekbones (lucky girl) and Dad’s chin.

Totally agree with Valerie–I see Kevin so much in Sosie, but still enough of Kyra to know that they’re mom and daughter!

not sure where Sosie comes from maybe just different from Josie or something but her middle name Ruth is from Kevin’s mother.Travis’ middle name is Sedgwick.

Beautiful girl! I think she’s a great mix of both her parents. And I agree with the other posters…definitely dressed and “made up” like a girl her own age…very refreshing.
