Cuba Gooding Jr. Says Piper Runs the House

With two older brothers, 3-year-old Piper Adelaide Gooding is no shrinking violet! So said her dad, actor Cuba Gooding Jr., on a Thursday appearance on The View. “Piper the princess, running the house,” Cuba joked. “She controls the house, are you kidding me?”
“Even the dog is like, ‘Oh, the baby is up!’ And our dog is 200 pounds.”
The boys — Spencer, 14, and Mason, 12 – are entering their teen-aged years and Cuba says it is his wife Sara who will guide them through the tumultuous terrain ahead. “We have a strong female voice in our household,” Cuba said. “My wife controls stuff.”
“The way the dog wakes up when the baby wakes up? That’s how I wake up when mom’s up. I sit up straighter a little bit.”
Sara doesn’t exert as much control as she might think, however! Cuba shared that when he was a child, his dad would take him to movies regardless of their rating. “My wife is having none of that,” he says. “Spencer has seen certain movies because he’s 14, that Mason hasn’t seen…To her knowledge, [laughs] because sometimes I take him.”

This sounds like a super fun family. Little Piper is too cute. I saw her with her daddy in West LA not too long ago. Wrapped…around…her finger.
