Indy Driver Scott Dixon and Wife Expecting First Child

Two-time Indy Racing League (IRL) winner Scott Dixon is on the fast track to fatherhood! The 28-year-old race car driver — who finished first in last year’s Indianapolis 500 — is expecting his first child with wife Emma Davies-Dixon. Baby-on-the-way is a delivery surprise due in July, according to Scott’s dad Ron Dixon, who adds,

“He went from all of a sudden not wanting kids to, yeah, it would be nice to have a kid — so why not now? It’s typical of Scott. If he wants something, he goes and buys it.”

Scott and Emma recently returned to the United States after spending time in Antigua, where they had been celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

   Congratulations to Scott and Emma! Their little one will be goregous and showered with love.

   Seems like there’s been a lot of IndyCar babies lately. Nearly all of the married drivers has at least one child.

   Now I want Scott’s teammate, Dario Franchitti, and Ashley Judd to have a kid. They would have beautiful children.

   lol, i always find it funny, if not ironic when guys are all “i don’t want kids, blah, blah” and they don’t go and do the necessary medical procedure to make their claims valid. that’s how i find out whether a guy truly does not want kids. if he hasn’t had that done, then yes he wants kids. simple as that.

   paige why would you want Dario Franchitti, and Ashley Judd to have a kid? they have their own lives, and if they wanted one they’d have had one by now, yeah? i also find it kind of strange when people are going around saying they want this and this to have kids. it’s a personal decision to have a kid and celebrities don’t need strangers saying they should have a kid, ya know? i’m sure they have enough of that sort of thing from their own family and friends.

   Considering Ashley finds it “unconscionable to breed” I would find it pretty hypocritical of her to actually birth a child.
