David Boreanaz and Wife Expecting Baby No. 2!

It’s going to be another little angel for former Buffy and Angel star David Boreanaz and his wife Jaime Bergman! David let it slip on this morning’s Live With Regis & Kelly that the couple is expecting their second child.
The actor, 39, shared that as he was attempting to explain “the birds and the bees” to 6 ½-year-old son Jaden Rayne, he asked, “You’re aware that mommy and daddy are having a new baby?” Live host Kelly Ripa interjected, asking, “Did you just say you’re having a new baby?” David jokingly replied, “I said that? Oh I did! Yes, I’m having a new baby.”
Baby on the way is due in September.
David can currently be seen on Bones, airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.

i love him on bones, and I’ve been rewatching the first seasons of BtVS and it’s so funny so see him young. He was always gorgeous, but he’s gotten better with age!

I LOVE this guy! He is so great to watch on tv – so approachable, fun and seems grounded and genuine. His wife is beautiful and I am sure they will have a drop dead gorgeous baby, but most importantly, the baby will have two down to earth, decent parents. Big fan, David. Keep up the great work!

I’m so happy for them. I’ve loved David since I was a teenager watching Buffy in the 90’s. There is a 7 1/2 year age gap between me and my sister also, and I completely adored my big sis growing up.

I squeed when I heard it on Regis & Kelly. They’ve been married for 8 years and that fire is still burning bright between them. Such a loving couple. They’ve been my #1 fave celeb married couple and still remain #1. I’m happy for them. Congrats to them and soon to be older brother Jaden. I know he’s probably excited, too

A little David Boreanaz trivia here: His parents were friends of my parents (went to the same church)when he was an infant in Clarence, N.Y. I visited their house when he was tiny and his mom, Patty, handed him over for me to hold. I was only about 10 or 12 at the time, but my claim to fame is holding David Boreanaz when he was a baby, and now he’s having his second baby. Congratulations to both David and Jaime! I’ve loved him since Buffy! (and, for those who care, he’s the spitting image of his own dad from back in the day — handsome with a beautiful smile).

According to an EW interview with David, Baby Boreanaz is due in September and it could be a girl

When is the baby due?
