Clek Olli Booster Seat: Paul Frank Makes It Even Cooler

Booster seats — not the most exciting must-have for avid shoppers. Clek has changed all that with their funky and highly functional booster seats. These seats are incredibly sturdy and well-made. It’s easy to employ the latch system and to disengage it when you’re lucky enough to have a carpool option.

The one I love best is the limited edition Paul Frank model, and not just because my son is named Julius (just like that iconic monkey). It’s bright red and adds a little punch to sticky, goldfish-dusted, happy meal toy cluttered back seat of my car. They also have a camouflage version ($90) which is apparently a favorite in the Brangelina minivan. (or is it a latch-enabled stretch limo?) and currently, the powder blue version is available for $40 at babyuniverse.com. You can also purchase covers for the seat for a new look.

oh, come on… mention the upcoming oobr (highback version of olli)

  2. dlock Says:

I thought these weren’t as safe as full back booster chair with its own point harness. I read where 4yr old child was killed using one of these because the seatbelt in the car failed, where if he had used a point harness he would have survived. Sad story. Cool artwork, but I would use a full back booster seat.

  3. Summer Says:

These are for kids you have out outgrown highback boosters, definatly not for 4 yr olds!

  4. beafrank Says:

Referring to a previous post, if the car’s seat belt fails, all child seats become a projectile within the car. This is a reason all cars since 2002 have the secure bar behind the seat which the Clek Olli model latches to. In fact, most child car seats attach to a seat restraint which has been available since 2003.
