"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

The Body Bakery Bath and Bodycare: Yummy As They Wanna Be

I’m addicted to dessert-scented bath and body products so you can imagine how my jaw dropped when I saw the list of over 80 scents at TheBodyBakery.com. Reading the list of “flavors,” I am not ashamed to admit that I started drooling.

As I’m back on Weight Watchers, desserts like Walnut Crunch Cake (rich vanilla cake topped with toasted walnut and caramel drizzle), Red Velvet Cake (luscious red cake with cream cheese frosting) and Honey Buns (golden honey baked into sweet butter cake) are not verboten but they would easily use up my daily points. With The Body Bakery’s products,  it’s possible to have your cake without the guilt with products like Whipped Cream, Pat-a-Cake Hand Cream, Body and Hair Icing, and Lip Frostings. The scents smell as good as they sound and the scent lasts once I put them on. Since they’re multi-note, they’re not just “vanilla” or “coffee” — the scents are as rich as the desserts they imitate.

Since I try my best to avoid skincare products that include petroleum-based ingredients, I love that the products contain no mineral oil, petroleum or parabens. Why should you care? At two cents an ounce, mineral oil, or liquid petrolatum, is a common ingredient in most skincare products, but it is a by-product of the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline.  Gross. Parabens are chemical preservations that have been linked to cancer. Additionally, vegans will appreciate that their products do not contain lanolin, a fatty substance that is extracted from sheepswool, or goat’s milk. (They even have PETA’s Cruelty-Free Bunny Seal of Approval.)

Because they refuse to use these cheap, inferior ingredients and because their products are made to order and fresh, their prices are higher. However, as I found, a little goes a long way, so you won’t need to use as much and the products will last longer.
