Meet Satyana Denisof!
Here she is! Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof introduce their 3-week-old beach baby — daughter Satyana — in a self-shot surfside photo released today through the Associated Press.
The happy couple, who met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and have been married five years, welcomed their baby girl on Tuesday, March 24th.

As the mom of a preemie, I have learned that cameras do add on ten pounds lol or some pounds. In real life my son was 5 pounds, in the pictures he looked like a normal baby, and in some he looks chubby lol.

She is so gorgeous!! What a sweet face. It’s hard to tell through just one picture, where she has her eyes closed, but I think she looks quite a bit like both parents.
I was wondering if/how we’d see a picture of Satyana, just because Alyson and Alexis have always been pretty quiet about their personal life. I like when celebrities release first photos this way; then you know that they’re okay with people seeing it and weren’t getting harassed by the paparazzi trying to get the “first” shot. Although no doubt the paparazzi interest in them is still there.

It’s been confirmed as her real one (and not a poser) by other celebrities who know her in real life, like Felicia Day. She hasn’t posted much yet, but she did mention that Alexis has been singing ‘Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport’ by Rolf Harris to Satyana. Soooo cute =)

She looks like her dad, and definitely has light brown hair. Alyson is not a redhead, she just dyes it. Her natural hair color is like brown, maybe auburn at the most. Cute photo!

I agree, I think it’s great that our first shot of baby Satyana came right from them. It’s a very low-key way to present their gorgeous new baby – much like this couple themselves! I’m glad there’s no “bidding millions of dollars for the first photos” going on here. This just makes them seem all the more down to earth, and just plain excited to show off their baby girl!!

I’m not too crazy about the name but I applaud Alyson and her husband for the way they chose to introduce their daughter to the public. Without cameras, tons of peoples, weird lightening and so on.. Their main concern from now on is their baby daughter and they decided to spare her, which I think is great. I hope other people will follow their lead. On another note, I think Naomi Watts and Liev Schrieber also chose a good solution for introducing their sons to the public.

natalie- To be fair, a photoshoot for the first photos of a celeb baby doesn’t always mean “lots of people”. For example, from what I’ve read, the first photoshoots of Shiloh, Pax, and Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt involved exactly ONE photographer, and, from the looks of it, the “special lighting” and such was very minimal.
