Jason Priestley Keeps Pregnancy Details Private

Don’t expect to be hearing any exciting updates from Jason Priestley and his expecting wife Naomi Lowde Priestley! In a new interview with Valentine in the Morning, the 39-year-old actor stayed mum when it came to divulging any details on their recently announced second pregnancy. “The baby is due sometime later this year,” he shared before allowing his sentence to trail off.
In fact, according to the proud papa, the couple are hoping to keep the entire ordeal out of the spotlight.
“You know, bro, I’m trying to keep it on the down low … I’m not on the down low apparently, I’m not on the down low at all!”
One thing Jason will share? That they are conjuring up quite the list of possible baby names — for both a boy and girl, he coyly added! “We’ve got lots of names in the hopper,” he explains.
Baby-on-the-way will join the couple’s first child, daughter Ava Veronica, 22 months.

I understand some things people keep private, but they can’t say what month the baby is due. Why bother anouncing the pregnancy at all??

I don’t think they announced it; I think it just became obvious. And if they ay the month she’s due, it could increase the # of paps who stalk them towards the end, trying to catch them going to the hospital.

I don’t think he’s full of himself at all. He has a right to either reveal or NOT reveal details of his wife’s pregnancy…some people just want to keep stuff like that private and that’s perfectly understandable. I agree with MZ, Naomi’s pregnancy just became kinda obvious.

If he doesn’t want people to know any details about the pregnancy, why mention it? It seems to me that this is just inviting the paps to hound them. Looks like a prime time for a photo opportunity when you’re not getting your face out there as much as you would like. Just say your wife is pregnant and you’re not gonna give any details and you have baited them.

Angel: I totally agree. I highly doubt that the paparzzi are interested inwhat Json Preistly and his family have been up to. I mean, the guy was famous like 20 years ago!

He has always been private and not an attention whore, so I personally respect him for his privacy. Just saw a picture of his daughter, she has the same hair and full lips as shiloh, looks a lot like naomi to me. his wife looks great pregnant too

Jason has the right to reveal whatever details of the pregnancy he wants to and to keep private whatever details he wants to. And the details he gave in the post above were from an interview, so I’m sure he was ASKED. Answering an interviewer’s question is different than voluntarily releasing a statement to the press on your personal life.

Jason and Naomi look great here! Jason has a lot of fans from his old 90210 days, even if it was 20 years ago! I used to watch it religiously in high school.
Anyway, they seem like a private couple, and certainly have the right to enjoy their pregnancy in relative peace, even if the live in Hollywood.

Jason wants privacy for his family. I think that’s admirable. We have no right to demand more information. They’re the parents.

hey, privacy is just that private. if they wanted people to know they’d tell people. they want to be left alone and go through things on their own out of public’s eye.

I think they are like most couples, It is not necessary for them, neither to they have to explain, every detail of their personal lives to the world at large. I just hope that Naomi has a good pregnancy and delivers a healthy child. God Bless them and their lovely little girl! X
