"My baby self weaned despite me trying to keep up the nursing! I find it so refreshing to hear Gwen talk about how hard she works to lose weight and keep herself in top shape. She looks great and has a beautiful family."

Marley Shelton Struggles With ‘Sensory Overload’

Flynet

Six months along with her first child — a baby girl — actress Marley Shelton and her husband Beau Flynn are in “sensory overload,” she told us at the Motherhood Begins Now event kicking off Pregnancy Awareness Month held over the weekend.

After hearing throughout the pregnancy that BornFree is the way to go, the couple plan to stock up on the bottles, as well as get much use out of their Maclaren Burberry stroller which was recently gifted to them.

Other than that, Marley laughs, when it came to registering, she was simply clueless!

“There are so many things! My girlfriend, who has two kids, took me to register and I just handed her the registry and she did it and I stood there, like, about to pass out.”

As the parents-to-be have “a really great time” decorating the nursery, a newly “confrontational” Marley — who says her new personality ”must be the mother instinct taking its roots” – shares that they plan on staying as eco-friendly as possible when their little one arrives.

According to the Eleventh Hour star, the two have just started the green approach to parenthood by turning to Seventh Generation diapers. “Seventh Generation pampers, that’s about as far as we’ve gotten in terms of the research, but organic cotton as much as possible,” she says.

Marley expects her daughter in late summer.

    She looks great.

  2. Shawna Says:

Why not cloth diaper if she wants to be eco-friendly? Or breastfeed? She’s stocking up on bottles and disposable diapers and claiming to be eco-friendly. Yeah, okay.

  3. Jane Says:

Who says she’s not breastfeeding? I breastfeed, my daughter has never had formula, and yet, she takes two bottles a day, at daycare. I’m a working mother and it’s not perfect, but its necessary. Bottles doesn’t mean no breastfeeding.

As far as the diapers, you can be eco-friendly and not go as far as using cloth diapers.

she’s adorable..love her on the show

  5. Ashley Says:

Why do so many people get all offended if someone doesn’t buy as many eco-friendly things as YOU would like. It’s not your baby, it’s not your money don’t worry. I personally will buy the best items that I can afford for my baby. Sorry if I don’t want to buy cloth diapers…that is MY choice!

She looks just like the promo photo for the dress…too funny!
