Nicole Kidman Out With Sweet Sunday

With her 10-month-old on her hip, Nicole Kidman leaves daughter Sunday Rose’s Gymboree class on Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn.
The previous day, Sunday was spotted out with Keith Urban, enjoying some daddy-daughter time before he left for the road — his Escape Together world tour kicks off tonight in Connecticut. Maybe Nicole and Sunday will be joining him for a few dates?
Nicole is also mom to Isabella Jane, 16, and Connor Antony, 14, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Is it just me or does anyone else just look at pictures of Nicole and Sunday and scratch their heads? Nicole is great. Sunday is beautiful! But they always look so awkward together, like Nicole isn’t used to carrying her around and holding her.
Maybe I’m just getting the wrong vibe here, but they don’t look nearly as comofortable with each other as say Jessica & Honor or Nicole & Harlow – is it just me?!

I don’t usually look for baby bumps (hey, if I were a celeb, people would think I were pregnant always!) but I did get a vibe right when I saw this pic, like she looks different than usual!! Also, I agree with whoever said Nicole and Sunday always look kind of awkward together… But that said, I have no idea what I look like holding my son (gosh, no one wants to snap my photo while I’m out and about?!) so don’t think I will read too much into it!

I haven’t analyzed her baby holding but I do recall a similar conversation regarding Jennifer Gardner and how she held Violet just before she revealed she was pg with baby no 2!!!! Take it for what it’s worth although I can’t imagine her wanting to be pg while he is starting his tour but why would she want to wait for him to finish either!! Wait and see!

That’s the first thing I thought, too (baby bump); either that or she’s just sticking her stomach forward to support Sunday. I can see her having another baby too before she gets too far into her 40’s.

I doubt she is pregnant again. she seemed like she had such a hard time getting pregnant over the years and she is going to be 42. I think the odds would be against her.

Well, Nic has always had a little tummy pooch. I’ve noticed it before, and it’s really small but it’s there. It’s probably just the tummy and not a baby. Although if it is a baby, good for them!

her stomach looks absolutely flat to me. gosh, if you were to see a picture of me, you might thing i was months along! i guess it’s just speculation or wishful thinking…but i definitely don’t see a bump. in the middle picture, i think it’s just that her back is arched.

Wow! You all must have flat stomachs because I have more of a bump than her even when not pregnant! I think that carrying kids is generally awkward….20lbs hanging on one hip! Baby looks healthy and mom sure looks happy!

Nice to see a photo of Sunday! She’s a sweetie. I can kind of see a bump too, but then again, it could just as easily be the power of influence. If she DOES have a bump, she’s likely not newly pregnant…she didn’t seem to pop until the last month last time b/c she’s so tall!

Look at Sunday’s fat little cheeks! We don’t see a lot of her so this is a nice shot.
I always worry about the mom’s over 40 getting pregnant (which has risen astronomically in Hollywood) and I am truly happy when they have healthy babies!

The way Sunday is on her hip, it pulls Nicole’s shirt tight across her top. Besides, it is very hard to hold your stomach in when you are carrying a baby. I don’t think she is pregnant!

In the first and last shot she is holding Sunday around the middle with no support on the bottom and the baby is not sitting solidly on her hip so thats why she looks awkward. She was probably just adjusting where Sunday was sitting or clutching her extra tight because of teh paps when they took the picture. I doubt we can say anything about her parenting!
Also some babies take a while to get that core trunk strength. My last didn’t sit till she was about 10 months old so she always looked slouched and awkward in a stroller or when I was holding her unless I used two hands. But put her on the floor and that kid could roll…all over the house (!) and she crawled and walked a few weks after sitting. SO all kids are different.

I don’t think she’s pregnant. I can see the “bump” that y’all are talking about in the first photo, but I think that it’s just because of how she is holding Sunday. That’s how my stomach looks whenever I hold a baby because I have to arch my back a bit in order to keep them firmly placed on my hip. Besides, she didn’t even start showing much until her 3rd trimester, so I doubt anyone would be able to tell this early. I mean, I hope she is pregnant again, but I don’t think we can come to that conclusion based on these pictures. But Sunday sure is a cutie, and Nicole looks pretty even when she’s dressed down.

I saw this picture and immediatly thought “Wow, she’s pregnant again already?” but now I’m not as sure. There’s the tummy pooch, but it could be just how she’s holding the baby, or even just a muffin top (all celebrities aren’t perfect!). but with sunday she didn’t start showing until a few months before the birth, but then again, people usually show way sooner with the second, especially if there’s not a ton of time in between pregnancies. Sunday doesn’t look anything like I thought she would, she looks like her dad. Also, not that we’ve seen many pictures of her, but in every picture I’ve ever seen of this baby she looks like she’s frowning or about to cry or uncomfortable, and while it could very well be the paps I don’t think it is… and I see what you mean about the weirdness with Nicole and Sunday, they don’t seem together, somethings off…. it’s almost like she’s holding a strangers baby, like there’s no bond, maybe Nicole had PPD? I don’t know, but something is off.

Ever since Sunday and Suri were born, it seems like Connor and Isabella are never mentioned, and I barely see pics of them.
Who do they live with? I just hope they are adjusting well, and getting just as much love and attention as the new babies do.

Anne- They live with Tom and Katie, mostly, and actually, Connor was just seen with Tom and Suri a few weeks ago. Also, Suri is hardly a new baby! She is three years old! As for not mentioning them…Tom has said that, being that they’re teenagers, they prefer that their parents don’t talk about them in public very much.
Phoebe- Haven’t you read her interviews? In almost all of them, she GUSHES over Sunday and talks about how lucky she feels to have her and how much she loves her. Honor Warren hardly ever smiles either, and no one says anything’s “off” there. Also, people claimed there was something wrong with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt when she was younger because she always had a blank look on her face…But look at her now!
I personally think it IS the paps. We rarely see photos of Sunday, so I’m guessing she isn’t exposed to the paps that often and probably isn’t all that used to them.

Phoebe, I also wanted to mention that Nicole has always been very vocal about how protective she is of her children. That could also explain why she often looks uncomfortable or awkward while out with Sunday (i.e. because she doesn’t like the paps flashing cameras in her baby’s face).
Also, when Shiloh was younger, people claimed that Angelina had no bond with her, based mostly on photos. However, since then we have heard Angie speak lovingly of Shi in interviews, as well as photos of Angie and Shi interacting with each other and having a good time.

Aw such a cute baby! I see quite a bit of Nicole in the face and the hair, of course!
Why do people always assume the tiniest pooch is a baby bump? Gosh you all must have washboard abs. Look at how Nicole is carrying the baby, her back is arched out so of course her belly is pushed out. I guess she has the “permanent pooch” a lot of women get that no number of crunches can get rid of.

Anne, both Tom and Nicole have said that Bella and Conner forbid their parents to talk about them in interviews. Tom also said that his two oldest kids shy away from the spotlight, while Suri is young enough not to care so much. So that is probably why you don’t see/hear much about the two oldest kids.

This little baby is the spitting image of Keith! And her name has sure grown on me … I think Sunday is a beautiful, feminine name. And I thought Nicole looked a little pregnant, too, but not from the shot of her tummy ~ to me, her chest looks bigger than normal
I don’t understand the comments about her being awkward with Sunday ~ she ADORES this child from every interview I’ve seen her in. She was probably just repositioning her on her hip.

Do you think perhaps the reason why alot of the other celebs and their kids (Including Tom) are pictured so often is because in LA you throw a cookie without hitting a couple of photographers. Nashville? not exactly a paparazzi hot zone.

Gosh it really seems like some of you nitpick at every little thing. She is holding the baby ackward, she looks pregnant, the baby is frowning and on and on. I wonder how I would look if I was being photographed constantly?? I think she looks great and I like Sunday looks like just an everyday beautiful baby.

Well its no wonder Hollywood’s women go through hell and back trying to get back into shape after being pregnant, especially as the majority of body shape nitpickers are right here!
I think we need to post pictures of ourselves after making such ridiculous posts just to make sure none of you have even an ounce of fat left on your bodies considering how unacceptable you see it.

Ellen- I agree! Nicole even said in an interview this past Fall that she has ALWAYS had a “little tummy” (this was when she was denying tab rumors that she was pregnant again…Which was pretty ridiculious of the tabs, considering Sunday was only 4 months old at the time, so if Nicole were pregnant enough to be showing, she’d had to have gotten pregnant practically right after she left the hospital after having Sunday!).
This is certainly evident from all of the false pregnancy rumors that spread back when Nicole and Keith got engaged and then married.
Anyway, when Nicole was pregnant with Sunday, she literally didn’t really show until her third trimester! Why do people suddenly think that she’d be showing so early with a second pregnancy (it’s pretty doubtful that she’d wait until her third trimester to confirm)?
Sam- ITA! Also, I want to add that Nicole has always been more protective of the older kids than Tom has, and even once said, I believe, that she tries to avoid being photographed with them. This certainly seems to be true when you consider that we rarely see Sunday, either. Also, like another poster mentioned, Nicole lives mostly in Nashville, which is not exactly the paparazzi capital of the world. Naturally the older kids are going to get photographed more when they are with Tom, who lives in L.A.

Sunday is so beautiful. It’s nice to see photos of her, but I hope the paps aren’t scaring her.
I can kind of see how people say it looks awkward. But to me, I think it’s just how Nicole is holding her. Shes holding on to Sunday by her chest. I don’t know about anyone else, but I usually hold a child from beneath their bum? Feels more supportive :s
I’m only eighteen and don’t have children so I can be told to shut up lol.

There is a recent picture of Nicole at the !Hola! website and she looks like there is a baby bump there! It is looks like a 4-month baby bump approximately. The caption even reads, “Nicole, amid pregnany rumors”!
