Tobey and Jennifer Meyer Maguire Welcome a Son

A future Spiderman? Actor Tobey Maguire and his wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer Maguire, welcomed their second child — a son! — on Friday, May 8th, their rep reveals.
Saying that she could “confirm the Maguires had a baby boy,” the rep adds that the new family of four is “healthy and happy.” A name and further birth details have not been released.
Baby boy joins big sister Ruby Sweetheart, 2 ½. Tobey and Jennifer, who married in 2007, announced the pregnancy in November.

Normally I don’t even try and guess what people are having but for some reason I had a dream they were having a boy (which is weird because {no offense} he is not someone I normally would dream about) so it’s kinda crazy that they did ;p I’m sure he will be super cute though (Ruby is adorable) and can’t wait to hear a name. How exciting! Congrats to them =)

I guess we wont hear a name for a week, arent they Jewish? maybe a hebrew name, I could be wrong, but when a celeb has a baby usually and they are jewish we dont hear the name for a week, especially when its a boy!!!!

I don’t know why but it felt like Jennifer had been pregnant for ever, like other celebs announced their pregnancy much later, but deliverd much sooner! :-S

Lol #15! I rarely think of that! Péter means that, you’re right, but the way it’s pronunced is very different, and the context is too, so I never notice. The german pronunciation is far more awkward to us!

I think a lot of people thought they would have a girl because of their friendship with Ben Affleck/Jennifer Garner and Matt Damon/Luciana since they both have 2 girls (well 3 in Matt and Luciana’s case). Congrats to their family!

Like many of the other posters, I thought for SURE it would be Girl No. 2 for this family! Still, the thought of Tobey with a son makes me smile. He’s so good with Ruby; I know the son will be every bit as darling. Congrats and best wishes to him, Jennifer and Ruby for their new arrival!
