Am I the only one in the world that doesn’t like Orbit strollers? I really just dislike the look of them for some reason.

  2. Lis Says:

I agree with you. I do not like them either. I think the actual car seat is really nice looking and neat but the stroller part looks like an office chair. I do not like the handles and the toddler seat looks funny. Most stars seem to have it just with the car seat and ditch it when they need a upright. pretty expensive for a “snap and go”.

  3. Lis Says:

on another note HOW CUTE IS SHE pregnant! I like her !

  4. XOXO Says:

She looks adorable pregnant! I loved her on Mad Tv lol

Anyway, if I had the money I would buy the Bugaboo instead of the Orbit…I love the bugaboo, the Orbit I dont like the style, I dont know what it is I just dont like it.

  5. Christie Says:

I agree – I have never found them to be attractive. I guess the carseat itself isn’t bad on it’s own but maybe I just can’t get over the price and that’s why I don’t like it :) ! And she DOES look fabulous pregnant!!

  6. Ashley Says:

Ok I don’t want to sound rude because I am not trying to be…BUT why is she having another shower…her first son was born 2 years ago and she is having another boy. Can’t she re-use alot of Dashel’s items and why can’t she buy the 2nd baby’s items herself, and request that any presents be donations to a good cause.

  7. N Says:

I can’t stand the Orbit! I’m glad I’m not the only one, because everyone around me thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread. I am looking at the Uppababy Vista… we love it!

  8. megan Says:

Congrats to Nicole on the 2nd baby arriving soon. But why is she registering ? She’ll have 2 kids of the same gender about 2 years apart. Did she throw out her other baby stuff already or something ? 0_0

  9. Moore Says:

She could be registering just as promotion for the shop. Seems that way since they talked about the shop location and what items are all in her registry.

  10. Christie Says:

    N –

My husband and I just bought the UppaBaby Vista for our second child due in 5 weeks. I LOVE IT!! The stroller we had for our now 4 year old daughter had broken so I needed to buy a new one and it’s great. It was a breeze to put together, love all the stuff it comes with and I also bought the new Chicco car seat adaptor so I can use it as just a stroller frame with my new Chicco KeyFit carseat for quick errands.

  11. N Says:

    Christie-

That’s good to hear! We haven’t made the purchase yet, but are pretty dead set on that one. It just seems so multifunctional! Our only issue is that we can’t find a place anywhere near us to “play” with one (or any higher-end stroller for that matter), so we are jumping in, just listening to reviews and message boards. Everyone seems VERY happy with theirs!

  12. Neeli Says:

Ashley I totally agree with you lol sorry :D

  13. Amy Says:

    N-

We have the uppababy vista for our 1 year old and love it. We’re planning on getting the Bob Revolution for running so I was going to sell the vista and my husband refused because he loves it so much. The basket underneath is HUGE….when I went food shopping on maternity leave last summer I used the car seat adapter and was able to get 25-32 items in the basket underneath. The checkout people hated me, but it made it much easier because my son hated the vibration of the shopping carriage.

  14. michelle Says:

I agree with Moore that this is probably a promotion for the store, not really her idea to register for gifts. They are probably gifting her the items in exchange for some advertising. It’s quite common. Advertising is still a lot about the barter system.

She is too freakin’ cute pregnant though.

  15. Ashlee Says:

    Ashley,
I was wondering the same thing!

  16. T Says:

Lol poor thing still has TWO months to go!?!?

After babies I think pregnant bellies are THE most beautiful things on earth. I can’t wait to be a mother.

  17. Mrs. R. Says:

    I guess I’m old fashioned…
She has 2 babies the same gender, just a few years apart. She can reuse EVERYTHING if she wanted to, or she is probably wealthy enough to rebuy a few basics if she really needs to.

I think it’s really odd that she would advertise herself as a giggle registrant. It’s weird for giggle, and it’s weird for her IMO.

We have a giggle near us, and the store is really great, but I just don’t see why they would be motivated to use her for advertising, when it’s not her first child, and why she would be motivated to do it when it’s not her first child. Why be so public about a registry for a second child?

  18. Kate Says:

It’s like a Hummer…it’s ugly and overpriced but it’s all about status. “Look, I have $1000 to blow on a stroller”

  19. Kate Says:

Usually there is no registry with the second shower, especially when the parent’s can obviously buy their own stuff being that they’re “Celebrities” and all.

  20. Danielle Says:

Just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean they don’t still have friends who want to buy them gifts. Also, some things may need to be replaced or updated. Both are valid reasons for registering gift preferences.

  21. Rebecca Says:

    Tacky.

  22. Rebecca Says:

If things need to be replaced or updated, the parents should be doing it themselves. Registering for gifts implies expecting a shower, or people to buy gifts. How hard would it be to wait until someone asks, “What do you need” or just see what that person WANTS to get you?

  23. Chrysteven Says:

That is the ugliest stroller ive ever seen. She looks super cute all big and pregnant :) isnt it funny how we all say “she looks adorable and such” while someone else is pregnant but when its us we’re like “im as big as a house!” or i look awful? I just think its funny…
