Exclusive: Jagger Donovan Rooney Celebrates His First Birthday!

Since his birth last May 31st, Rascal Flatts lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany Fallon have kept son Jagger Donovan out of the spotlight. In celebration of his first birthday, the couple have decided to open up their photo album and share a few personal pictures of Jagger’s first year exclusively with Celebrity Baby Blog readers!
Tiffany, who recently appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and was the 2005 Playboy Playmate of the Year, spoke to us briefly about her little man’s latest accomplishments!
“I can’t believe we just celebrated Jagger’s first birthday! Everyone says the first years fly by — and they’re right — but looking back over the past year reminds me of many incredible experiences, a lot of firsts and a happiness that is hard to express in words.
Since the day he was born, Jagger looked just like his handsome daddy and luckily, he acquired his temperament too — sweet and mellow, but with my fearlessness and blue eyes. This year has been a learning experience for Joe Don and me, but Jag makes parenting easy.
Every milestone has been an incredible adventure for all of us. From what Grandma tells us, the fact that Jag sleeps 12 hours at night — and has done so for months — is rare… so we are lucky parents on many counts!
When we are not on tour with Dad, Jag and I love to join his baby buddies and their moms at his Music City Music Together class. He’s been going since he was eight months old and it gives us a chance to be around other babies and share in Joe Don’s passion for playing instruments… or eating them.
We’ve also been taking swimming class for the past month and have been working on eating table food, which usually becomes floor food, then quickly turns into dog food. Dad and I are looking forward to Jag taking his first steps, which should happen any day!”

He’s a year old and hasn’t taken steps yet ? I don’t have kids yet, so is that the normal or cause for concern ?

Freakin’ adorable!!! The family is so cute! And Megan, I don’t think that any kids who are not walking by 12 months is any concern. Both my babies did not start walking until they were 14 months, while my friends first baby started walking at 8 months and her second child at 10 months. So, it just depends on if and when the baby is ready to start walking.

Jagger is super adorable!! And Megan, there is a big range in when babies start walking. My godson started walking at 8 months, my son started walking at 10 1/2 months and my niece (who was a chunky little monkey, lol) didn’t take her first steps until she was 15 months.

My oldest walked at 9 months, my son didn’t walk until 15 months, and my youngest turned 1 today and has not taken any steps yet, but who knows? It could click tomorrow and she could start walking. I think if they aren’t by 16 months is when the drs start looking into it.
Happy birthday to Mr. Jagger, such a sweetie! I can’t believe how fast the time flies! I love Rascal Flatts!

Wow, Jagger is so precious! He really is a mini Joe Don with Tiffany’s blue eyes. He’s gonna be a little heartbreaker when he gets older!

I was plodding about on my feet by my 1st birthday but could only say a few words, my sister was talking away by her 1st but didnt start walking until 14-15months. Every Kid is different.
I am going threw a Rascal Flatts phase right now, cannot get enough of them if I tried and was thinking about Joe Don the other day and wondering about Jagger, funny.
He is a gorgeous little boy, looks just like Daddy. He would be gorgeous if he looked just like Mummy though.

I didn’t start walking until I was 18 months old and my kid brother started walking at 12 months.

My son walked at 15 mths and daughter about a day after turning 12 mths – and she’s wanted to keep up with him ever since!
