There will be two American Idol debuts to look forward to in January — the premiere of season nine and a new arrival from alum Bo Bice!

The season four runner-up announced wife Caroline’s pregnancy on Friday evening at a fan club gathering in Nashville.

“American Idol has a new winner each year — seems things are the same in our house,” Bo, 33, tells PEOPLE. “Can’t wait to introduce our new little ‘Idol’ to the world January 31st!”

The latest addition will be the third child for Bo and his wife, who are also parents to sons Caleb James, 9 months, and Aidan Michael, 3 ½. The couple have been married four years.

On tour throughout the summer, the rocker will open for Lynyrd Skynyrd in August.

   I don’t usually post comments, but I just noticed something very weird here.
   My sister also has a 3 1/2 year old, a 9 month old and is now preggers with #3, also due in January. ALL of her kiddos & Bo Bice’s are the same age.

   Crazy!

   Wow, congratulations to them both! They look like they are really great parents to these children. It seems like she has been pregnant their whole married life. Hope this one’s a girl for her, women usually after a few boys do want a girl and all the best to them both!

   Aww! I liked Bo on American Idol. He seems like such a nice person and is probably a great father to Aidan and Caleb. Both of his sons are adorable. I’m sure the next one will be beautiful as well (maybe it will be a girl )

   I didn’t know that he even had kids, but wow, working on number three! I have three and it’s a full time job all by itself. In my newsletter I talk a lot about kids and childrens’ products, because with three kids, the topic of children is rarely off my mind, lol.

    I was at the party and during question time, I ask that very question. If they planed on any more babies, He answered without answering…LOL..

    I was so excided when Caroline annouced #3 was on the way.

    Congtrats Bo and Caoline, you are so blessed. I wish for a healthy baby, boy or girl…
