Golden Brooks, D.B. Woodside Expecting a Baby

Golden Brooks and D.B. Woodside are expecting a child together, the actress’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The former Girlfriends star, 38, is due in September.
The actress recently wrapped the indie film Polish Bar, while D.B., 39 — best known for his role as President Wayne Palmer on 24 — is currently appearing on HawthoRNe.
Golden and D.B. began dating in 2008.

That’s a lot of Buffy babies this year! Alyson/Alexis’ baby, Sarah’s baby, David’s baby, and now D.B.! Awesome! Congrats to them!

Congratulations to them! Both really good actors. Golden was on one of my favorite, brilliant but cancelled shows, Linc’s. Loved DB in The Temptations made for TV movie. I agree with the poster above….I love Black love.

Wow, two surprises for me: The fact that they’re a couple and are expecting a baby. I didn’t know a thing! But I wish them well with the pregnancy and the baby down the road.

Emily, I thought the same thing. Maybe they met in early 2008. But then again, Katie Holmes was pregnant with Suri after three months of dating Tom Cruise and they’re still married and in love!

She is 38, and this is her first child. I doubt “accidents” happen at that age. She found a good match and wanted to have a baby. regardless, they are both committed to each other and the child.
