Judy Reyes Expecting First Child

Time to buy some baby announcements, stat! Judy Reyes, who stars as sassy nurse Carla on Scrubs, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, director George Valencia, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The Alma Award-winning actress, 41, who appeared on HBO’s Oz, recently starred in the Lifetime movie Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story. She also appeared in Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee, a Los Angeles Latino Film Festival award winner written and co-directed by George.
The baby is due in November.

OMGosh this announcement gave me goosebumps. I love love LOVE Judy as Carla on Scrubs. I can’t wait to follow her pregnancy and see her grow. Congrats to them and here’s hoping for an easy and healthy pregnancy!!

WOW 41 no way, she looks fantastic.
Shes a very underrated actress I think, I dont watch Scrubs regularly but she is great on it.

Judy Reyes wasn’t on Oz. I think the writer is confusing her with another actress, Lauren Velez. Anyway, it’s wonderful news for Judy. Much health and happiness to her and boyfriend.

Congrats to her and her bf!
On Oz she played the wife of the correction officer that was blinded… it was only a couple of eps that spanned 3 seasons…if that helps any of the OZ viewers!

AW!!!! YAY! I love her as Carla and she’s fantastic in every other role I’ve seen her in. She seems like such a great woman with her head on straight. She’ll make a fantastic mother!

I’m SOOOO happy for her! I absolutely love her on Scrubs and I’m so happy she’s going to be a mommy!
