Soap Stars Kyle Lowder, Arianne Zucker Expecting First Child

There’s a baby on the way for soap stars Kyle Lowder and Arianne Zucker! The couple have announced that they are expecting their first child in December. The pregnancy will not be written into Arianne’s storyline at Days of Our Lives, according to the show’s executive producer Ken Corday.
Kyle, 28, and Arianne, 35, met on the set of Days of Our Lives in 2000 and were married in 2002. Kyle currently stars on The Bold and The Beautiful in the role of Rick Forrester.

Aw, congrats to them! They have always been a fave real life soap couple of mine. I also didn’t realize how young Kyle was (compared to her). I am so thrilled for them!

I am so excited that baby is going to be beautiful. I also have to say I can’t stand Arianne’s character on days she gets me so mad lol. But I love them together.

QT – They separated in Summer of 2007, but announced that they had reconciled and things were fantastic in early 2008, so they’ve been back together for quite a while.

Congrats to them both. They did seprate for a short while but got back together. They are a cute couple. I love Nicole on DOOL.

I knew it!!! I watch Days every day and had noticed that “Nicole” was looking fuller on top and also wearing high-waisted tops.

QT you are right they seperated but they decided to try and save their marriage and got back together. Something you don’t see a whole lot of these days!

I am so happy for them! They have talked about wanting a child for quite a while in some interviews, so I’m thrilled they’re finally realizing their dream! Like others, I had suspected that Ari might be expecting when I saw a picture from the recent DAYS annual charity basketball game that James Reynolds (Abe Carver) does. Ari was in street clothes and normally she would have been right out there with them playing. So I wondered, and then I started noticing they’re filming her more close-ups and in different shots then they used to.
I love that they’ve been open about the fact that they did separate for a while, but instead of doing the “popular” thing and quickly divorcing, they decided to fight for their relationship and did what it took to reconcile, now they’re going to have a precious baby, and they seem happier than ever!

I watch DOOL and suspected she was pregnant because of the tops she was wearing and her body overall filling out. Congrats to both of them.

I am so happy for them. I also thought you looked like she was a little fuller in her face. I wish they would write it in the show..maybe she would give it up and put it on Sami’s door without telling. Then Sami and Raffe would be a family again.

Aw, congrats! Brady & Nicole were one of my fave soap couples!
I hate that it seems only Ali Sweeney’s pregnancies get written into the show. I would love to see Nicole finally have a child of her own. The way it’s going, the only “new generation” of Salem will be Sami’s children!

Why is it that every time a soap couple is mentioned on this board from DAYS people feel the need to come in and air their opinions about the storylines the people are involved in. This doesn’t seem like the appropriate place to air your soap opera-related grievances.

i don’t think there’s anything wrong about making an innocent comment about a soap opera character that an actor plays. daytime soaps don’t just air once a week for 30 min for a few seasons or once at a movie. they air every week day, an hour a day, all year round. soap actors understand- and bank on the fact- that these soap characters become a part of people’s “lives.” anyway, congratulations to the couple! i’m glad they were able to work things out.

CONGRATS Kyle & Ari!!! That baby is gonna be gorgeous. I knew this news was coming cuz of the pics from the Days Charity Basketball Game and you could kinda see the bump. Not to mention she would usually play and she didn’t. One more thing Kyle Lowder has a 10 questions video on Youtube and he kinda hinted at this news or that it might be coming soon. I’m just so thrilled for them. I LOVE Kyle as Rick on B&B and Ari is brilliant as well. By the way I’m the Samantha they mentioned at the end of this article. Kyle and Ari are too special and important to have not posted this news. CONGRATS once again Mr.&Mrs.Lowder!!!

oh that is lovely news. they’ve been together for a long time now, and hopefully they were able to learn from their separation back a couple years ago and to move on together as parents-to-be. such a cute couple!

I really am so happy for her & yes, they really should write her pregnancy into the story. On soaps,they have done it millions of times for woman characters who cannot bear a child & then all of a sudden they become pregnant & have a happy ending! I really hope the Days writers would consider this!

Congratulations to both of you. Ari, I think you are one of the best actresses I have ever seen. When you lost your baby on Days, I cried with you. Your performance was so real and believeable and outstanding. And Kyle, miss you on Days. You are the best, too. Enjoy that sweet little bundle of joy! Ari, will you be coming back to Days after the baby is born?
